Ive been 3 times now and each experience was great. Sat at the bar each time. Nick was the bartender and he's great! My friends and I had brunch last Sunday and it was absolutely delicious! Ive also been in the evening for a delicious charcuterie board and wine. It was wonderful. The vibe is young, energetic, and fresh. I really enjoy this place.
First time to Dallas and took our family out. Great vibe, food, and beers. Loved it.
Great food and service!!!
Food was great but our server was very slow and the food took a while
Overall had a great time and enjoyed the food. Little loud but had a great server and enjoyed our food, would definitely go to this neighborhood restaurant /bar again
Food was terrible and not warm! Will not be back.
Always a great spot for Sunday Brunch, and other occasions.
Food was excellent vibes were fun but comfortable. Wish service was a little better but will be back again!
Me and my adult daughters highly recommend this spot for brunch! It was affordable and the food was amazing ?? $20 bottle service for mimosas including juice, we mixed pineapple and orange ? Our server Fin was pleasant and accommodating! We will definitely be back
State & Allen has a relaxing atmosphere. Their drink menu is typical of what youâll find in Dallas, with nothing super fancy. The food was OK, again, nothing fancy. I had the bacon avocado burger, and my wife had the Love Love Bowl. Her bowl, which was supposed to have chicken on it, came out ugh no chicken. When mentioned to the waiter, he was very apologetic and made sure that she got her grilled chicken. The burger didnât seem to have much flavor. As far as the service goes, while the waiter was very friendly and accommodating, was a little slow. He didnât bring plates when our appetizer came out, and it seemed to take a while to get our drinks. Of note, they do have a pretty good beer menu and whiskey/bourbon selection. All-in-all, there is nothing special about this place that would make me want to come back.
