I was in Dallas for one night and asked the workers at the hotel where to go for good BBQ. A couple places were mentioned but were closed. Then they said Sonny Bryan's. I'm the kind of person that does not care what a place looks like just that it has good to great food. That fits Sonny's. I see some reviews that are less than positive but my FOOD experience was wonderful. I have eaten a lot of Brisket in many areas but it would be impossible for me to name a place that I have had better brisket. The smoked sausage, baked beans and onion rings were good. The slaw was OK but my brisket was amazing.

Great value for money. The turkey surprised me as well, moist and good flavor. The atmosphere was nice too.

I purchased the three meat combo. Double turkey and brisket. They do not offer white meat chicken and I do not eat pork. So my options were limited. Hence the double turkey. I asked for my brisket to be lean. And it was all fat. The turkey did not have a smoked flavor. So I was not pleased. The sauce was good but everything else was bland.

No seasoning on nothing. Ribs ..sausage..and brisket...... potatoe salad was pickley.....I bought the $60 3 meat deal.My friends all was giving me hell for bringing it back...won't be back here. They told me I should've went to some other BBQ spot around the area. They live in this area and I don't so I didn't know.

My girlfriend and I were wide awake at 1 in the morning and this is one of the few 24 hour restaurants around us. I'm glad we went in. The meat from my combo platter was tender and smoked to perfection. Their brisket is especially delicious. And my girlfriend got the baked potato with chopped chicken and that potato was LARGE and STUFFED and perfect in our opinion. Needless to say, we were satisfied. This is definitely some of the best barbecue in town.

This restaurant has the best bbq sauce I've ever had on ribs. You can almost drink it straight up, It's that good! The ribs were tender and juicy too but the sauce is the real star around here. It's been 7 years and I can still taste it when I close my eyes...

I would be more than happy to have this 24 hr bbq joint near me. They were just closing for Easter but we made it in for a last minute order. Sampled across the menu, I like the dill in the potato salad and the turkey was spot on and the ham was great, also the pulled pork had good flavor but was a little dry, the cheddar jalapeno sausage was delicious and spicy, the chopped brisket was good. Overall I was very happy.

Wow - what a hidden gem near Love's Field. The place has great character and history. Sliced brisket and ribs were excellent. They take the ribs and grill them again after they're sauced and you get this great char/ sauce thing going on. Brisket was delicious with great bark. Onion rings were really good also. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Ordered 2 of their large combo plates with Sliced brisket, pulled chicken, ribs, potato salad and beans. The only thing edible was the bread. Brisket was extremely dry, potato salad was bitter and the beans were way too spicy. Our food looked nothing like the pictures in previous reviews.. That was our reason to stop there to try it.. Spent over $40.00 on wasted food. Will never eat there again.

It’s been a few years and they have not been kind to the original . The brisket was rubbery and dry, tasteless in fact. The cole slaw tasted as if it had been factory made at least a week ago. The turkey was that processed turkey breast - rubbery . Aha- the onion rings were superb greaseless and full of flavor Not worth the Uber .
