I start by saying i have never had Ethiopian food before. Upon walking into the restaurant the smell is amazing, the waitresses were so nice and the food was so unbelievably tasteful. The prices are so reasonable and i would rather eat here than the fancy restaurants downtown.
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely Sheba Ethiopian kitchen in Dallas. I'm usually selective and always find some kind of drawback. In this case, from the staff to the food was Truly amazing!!! The veggie plate and greens w/beef ( goman basiga) is delicious. I've also had kittfo and other dishes everything was absolutly tasty. Indeed the best meal we had in Dallas. Highly recommend!
The worst place to dine, they don't evencheck on you, The so called manager Walk on by us don't even greet us,,we come from an other state and searched Ethiopian restaurant we found it we get in set by ourselves, they don't even wipes The table ,there were drops of food on the table, set there for 45 minutes,with My hungry wife and a toddler, finally we go out because we're too hungry , My worst experience ever in Ethiopian restaurant.
The vegetarian platter is great. A side we hadn’t had yet at any other Ethiopian restaurant is the green beens. They are fantastic!
One day my mom told me she had craving for fried fish and I was debating which ethiopan resturant to choose. I was a bit worried in the beginning, what if it doesn't work out . I went to sheba kitchen I ordered on the phone and the lady that took my order was professional and she gave me an estimate time of 30 minutes and it was ready within the time frame I am told . When I arrived at the restaurant the lady working there was very prompt and I didn't tell her my order she knew right away for that I tipped her, I was impressed by her attentiveness. Lets get to the good part the fried fish it was so delicious I ate it to the bone and my mom was happy with the food. You have earned life long customer. I just want to say thank you .
I really enjoyed eating here and am adding it to the favorites list. The food is delicious and the service is excellent.
I recommend their Fried fish plate. And also Derek Tibs. Its well cooked lamb / or beef grill.
The food was good but the service it so terrible and the waiter’s doesn’t even know how to show a welcoming face rather it shows a face of get out off this restaurant. The waiter toke her 30 min for her to notice we didn’t order anything and another hours for them to bring the food. I like the food but I don’t like the service for that I won’t be coming again
The food is good we ordered fish was dry it test horrible oily but the dry tibs is good and customers service is very bad we tray 3times We thought they will make it better they will get someone Better a good server But instead they had a worst guy working there he didn’t even say hello he didn’t come back to our table to ask us anything we wasn’t happy at all so we’re not going back there anymore.
