Desperately needed 24 sandwiches for a meeting lunch today. Had placed an order yesterday with another sandwich shop. The order was not ready and we were informed they were not going to make it. Called Schlotzky’s on Gaston and they pleasantly took the order, and had delicious sandwiches done within 25 minutes. Every experience I have ever had at this restaurant has been excellent service with delicious food. Cannot thank them enough.

On Wednesday, March 23, 2022, my son and I drove thru this Schlozky’s store after a doctor’s appointment`. We both ordered soup. About half way home, my son discovered his soup was not in the bag, nor was a receipt. I turned around and drove all the way back to get the soup and most importantly, my receipt. Upon arriving back, we spoke to the lady who waited on us when we originally ordered. We told her what happened and she was very kind and told us she would take care of it. A few moments later, a very large woman came to the window. She walked upon us with a terrible attitude. She asked me what the problem was. I told her our soup was missing and I did not get a receipt. She was very rude. I got my receipt, then she told me it would be $5.00 for the soup. I told her I was half way home and the gas cost was terrible. I’m disabled and on a very fixed income. She said, “I repeated the order and there was only one soup on there.” I told her I was sorry she didn’t hear the 3 times I ordered it but I still had to come back for the receipt that should be a common practice to give to a customer. While trying to talk to this woman (Samantha was her name), she slammed the window several times. After the last time she was rude, I asked to speak to the manager. She said, “I’m the manager.” I told her that was a scary thought and I would be contacting the corporate office. She said, "I'll be calling them myself” and slammed the window one more time.It is sad that customer service is at an all-time low, but when the managers treat a customer like she did us, suffice to say the workers won’t care how they treat others either. It’s a shame we pay $5.00 for a $1.25 soup and a receipt that should be a common practice to give to a customer is not given; but, to have to endure a rude, shameful excuse for a manager is unacceptable. We have loved Schlozky’s for years and this has left a sour taste.Note to owner of that store, you need to get this employee (Samantha) in line. I’m certain she is costing you some black eyes on your store.I did call the corporate office and they didn’t even bother to return my call. I’m truly disappointed in this entire situation.

This location is great but don't ever try to go to the one on Town East boulevard in mesquite that one is horrible they had four people waiting and they said it would take 20 minutes to fix a sandwich

Horrible service!!!! Only person in drive through and it toon them longer than 10 minutes, all I got was a sandwich , I look through the drive through door no one was working , just joking with each other , the drive thru guy handed me the food without a thank you and shut the door , this was 3/22 @ 6:20pm

Love Schlotzskys always fresh and always tasty!!! A great healthy choice for a drive thru.

Had lunch with some coworkers and everything tasted great. As you can see I added extra frosting on my dessert...which actually was MANDATORY since my work week was just TOXIC! Schlotzskys got me off the ledge.

Took family out. Soup was cold but they made it right quickly.

Excellent location by St Joseph's in Dallas. They are quick and friendly. The sandwiches here always taste so fresh(I've not tried any other items)

Judging by the number of customers getting a sandwich etc for Sat lunch this place is deserving a much better rating in stars. Nice place to eat on the corner of intersection. This is my first time here but I have eaten at many Scholtzky's over the years. This place holds up the standards. I got my order taken right away and served promptly.

Clean, nice shop with delicious food, polite staff, and is the only pleasant, quiet place I could find in the area where I could go inside, eat yummy food, and wait while my mom was with the doctor in the nearby medical buildings. I will definitely be back when I’m in the neighborhood.
