My fish was alittle over cooked! The atmosphere in side this location was horrible. Very dark and hot. The floor is very sticky. The customer service wasn't that great either.
They have best catfish around here they always my favorite give 10 stars customers service always A1
My fiancé and I went for the first time and the male taking the order stated “we don’t allow people to take their time with orders, we prefer call in orders.” He basically rush us after 3mins and didn’t want to answer any questions. Talking about “standing here, it’s a health code violation and we don’t won’t the fees.” It was only two of us after 7:30pm! What!?!? In that dirty, shoes sticking to the floor, no hair nets, no gloves, no masks wearing staff, RESTAURANT! Board of health, hurry up and come shut them down bc…NO! He was rude, impatient, not welcoming and I hope he jinks the establishment with that violation health fee lie he made up! Who’s the owner and do they even care about the establishment!? I will advised if it’s your first time, don’t go, the service is garbage. Our first and last time going here! The UnPleasant Grove location, of course!
Nice guys but place is Very dirty! Needs to be shut down to deep clean. Walking in my shoe got stuck on the floor and my foot slipped out it was so sticky! Major health Hazzard! I was scared to eat my food because of how dirty it was but I didn't want to judge the food just because the exterior looked bad so I ate some of it anyways. I was disappointed because my fish filets looked like it was only one cut in 1/2 to make two nuggets. The flavor was mild but not bad.. The shrimps were horrible. I don't know if they were overcooked or what but they were very rubbery and I couldn't even tear it apart . I ended up having to cut it in half just to see what the inside looked like and it looked like a clear plastic rubber that was melted. Not to say that's what it was just saying that's how it looked it was so bad. the fries were very fresh. Will probably try to go to a different location to see if there is better luck but will not go back to this specific location.
Ronnie's was good the first time, but when I went back I guess a different cook. But still I like their catfish sandwich ?.
The Pleasant Grove location was HORRIBLE! The fish was laying in a bed of grease and falling apart in it. We will never go to this location again...only the one on AUDELIA!
Ronnie's should have a 5star rating if it was base on food and service only. But I have to keep it real. I love the food and the staff , but they need to focus on updating the building cause they are not ? what it do. Even when they clean it looks dirty, and second start taking something other than cash. This is a plastic generation. Those 2 things would make you a 5 star in my eyes. My experience in this area ,( 49 years of eating food, 20 years of restaurant management and business management, 29 years as a single parent). Oh and trust me they put a lot of food on your plate. So I encourage new customers to go dine and beg the owners to invest in the point of purchase at all his locations.

Fish was not bad. The location is South Dallas & Duncanville; the fish is much better but the buildings in South Dallas & Pleasant Grove, the inside is terrible! Prime example of making money but not upgrading your business & showing your customers you are proud of your company. Decor is outdated and looks dirty.
