BE CAREFUL! ONLY PAY CASH HERE IF YOU GO! (Other reviews similar) This is disappointing to leave one star! And happy to change it if the situation gets resolved. I went to visit Dallas and ate here. I have my receipt as I am managing my travel expenses! Long and behold the bartender increased his tip and my card was charged more. I have my copies. This is not okay! I would only pay cash here! I left a 6.00 tip and he increased it to 10.00 which is easy for many people to overlook when they aren’t having to send in an expense report. BE CAUTIOUS! I can’t be the only one he has done this to!
Great drinks and great music!! Will be back again!! Hidden gem on the little strip here!!
I loved the atmosphere and great live music. So why the one star you ask?I was charged $57 for two cocktails (which were priced at 13$ each). I brought this up to the bartender, she adjusted the check supposedly but i still saw a 53$ charge on my back statement. Now i understand this is purely the fault of the bartender but you can't rip off your customers and expect them to return.
Great love music, wait staff kinda slow, drinks are way overpriced . They also charge your credit card $5: pp at your table as a band fee. If we had known we woo have tipped the band $6 es per sign. Got dbl charged.
I have only been here during the day in a Saturday and it was perfect. Relatively empty just like I like it and it felt like I had the performers to myself. The live music is fresh and funky and so good for the soul. The drinks are strong and craft and the food is delicious.
Need a vibe. Hit up the Bishop Arts District. ❤️ House packed. Live music. Cool bartenders and staff. Thankful this was the next spot for the night. There is outside seating but all the action is inside. Tried an awesome local Brandy. Woman owned. Gotta love that!!!Had a blast with my best of friends. Can’t wait to come back and chill a bit more. The groove is real.
Nice and chill place! They have live band . The drinks are good. I tried the old fashion
Female bartender was extremely rude. I brought over 8 people in last night, tipped over 100% on my tab, and was cheering on the bands and supporting the local crawfish business next door. I had a beer in my hand when I went to wash my hands inside. the female bartender, not saying anything up front, forcefully tried to just grab and throw away the drink, to which I resisted. She said I couldn’t drink it in there (which I wasn’t, I just wanted to wash my hands and didn’t want to leave my drink unattended outside). But I get it, rules are rules. I really needed to wash my hands tho, so took a final swig before throwing the beer away so I can wash my hands…then the woman kicks me out lol. said it was disrespectful…lol Definitely the FARTHEST from Nola-vibes!! And on Mardi Gras too. Completely rude and uncalled for.
Hands down, Revelers Hall, is my favorite live music venue in Dallas. If you are looking for quality live music played by true musicians who love their art, this is the place to be.This atmospheric venue is an incubator and destination for those who appreciate the likes of Nina Simone, Django Reinhardt; as well as orther Blues, Jazz, & Big Band greats. To top it off, their talented staff serve unique cocktails and delicious food. Deb is one of thier rockstar servers, but the entire staff is always happy to help. * Please note; this place can get busy quick, especially on the weekends/holidays, so come early.Overall, Revelers Hall is a gem within Bishop Arts. Whether you are local or just a visititor looking for a unique Dallas experience, this is your place. My recommendation is to grab an outdoor seat along the sidewalk on a balmy evening, but if it’s too hot or cold, arrive early for a cozy booth inside.
Nice quaint spot. Good live music ? 12/18 and 12/22.
