Stayed at the Fairmont Hotel in March for roughly two days for work meetings. I hit the Pyramid bar several times while there (and yes, I ate as well). Service was amazing regardless of the time of day. I was there typically mid-day during breaks. Spent some time chatting with John and he was great. He interacted with several groups of people, while I was there, making everyone feel taken care of and heard! Would easily go back and / or recommend to other travelers.
Nice place to eat at night
Cool little bar in the lobby of the Fairmont hotel. Bartenders were nice albeit a little heavy handed on the drinks for my taste (which some people might consider a plus!) a good place to grab a low key drink if you happen to be in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way.
Was really busy when I visited, but despite that service was fast & the place looked reasonably clean.
A surprisingly good time! I went to Dining in the Dark at the Pyramid prepared to not like many aspects of it. I did not want to wear a blindfold, I wanted to see what I was eating, I did not want to spill my food on my clothes. The entrance at the Fairmount is well staged to transition you from light to dark. By the time you are at the table, you realize you are really going to be eating in the dark. Instantly, you feel out of your comfort zone. You do not feel silly at all wearing a blindfold, because no one can see you. Then you start dealing with the unfamiliarity of finding your drink, your plate and your silverware without your eyes. The wait staff is very helpful in letting you know when and where they place the many different items that are brought out. Remarkably soon, you become very comfortable using your silverware. The best part is that all of the food and the wine and whisky pairings are great. Everyone was having a lot of fun discussing what we were eating and drinking. Dining in the dark highlighted how the the taste of each wine changed as you ate the paired course. When the meal was over, we then met with the chef and the sommelier and peppered them with questions for at least thirty minutes about how and why they chose the pairings. I left very happy, with a clean shirt and a new appreciation and understanding of dining.
Good breakfast buffet with just about anything one would want.
Really Great Food and Drinks.. Service was Superb...
Good works deserves good recommendation,
I love this place, great food & service. The service was friendly and sociable. Feels similar to a restaurant in New York I liked.
The service here is better than most. Prices are reasonable I would say. I see why this place has a lot of good reviews.
