I’ve been here many times. Mainly because it’s a great place to watch games, have a drink, and enjoy some good wings. I will also add the service is generally good.My issue lies with how loud their audio is. We watched the Warriors vs Celtics NBA Finals game there, and yes of course everyone wants the audio. It was simply too loud. Granted, we were sitting beneath the speakers, but even still, they could’ve turned it down a notch or two. They had the volume at 11 when it easily could’ve been at a 7 or 8 and it would’ve sufficed. We asked for them to turn it down to no avail. We left at halftime because it was just too much.
We come to this location every time we're in the Dallas area. The GM, Daniel, was very friendly and went above and beyond in helping us out with an issue. The food and service here are consistently great every time we come, and it's in a great location for other activities once we're finished eating. Highly recommend.
Totally disappointed on a takeout meal last Sunday. I ordered a 10 wing piece meal. When I arrived home I saw I was only given 5 wings. I called the restaurant and they offered to give me another meal and I said I was able to drive all the way back. I requested a refund and they were like ok hold on. Told someone else what had happen and she had said they would refund me and then just hang up without letting me get a word in after. Almost a week has passed and I have not been refunded. That s the main issue for me. Get less food and being charged for more food I never received. They also forgot the complementary celery. I asked for blue cheese and they gave me ranch and paid for the wings to have extra sauce. Last time I go there or get takeout. Horrible customer service. I shouldn't have to check if my food order is correct. Unfortunately I guess I will have to start doing this.
I had never known the true meaning of life until I had walked into Pluckers. I remember the day like the back of my hand. My pastor had just told me that I was going to hell. I couldn't believe it. After years of Vacation Bible School and and years of mission work in Haiti, I still hadn't proved myself. And now Pastor Ronald Donald Thompson says that I'm never going to find God.I didn't know what to do with myself. I didn't know who to turn to. As I walked past the saloon, I saw a newspaper clipping drifting by like the afternoon tumbleweed. I ran over as fast as I could and picked it up. It was an ad for Plucker's. What else could I do but sit down and have some wings to eat. When I walked in, the piano saloon player stopped his tunes and everyone stared at me. I didn't know what else to do but to sit down and order some wings. When I got them, I took one bite and I swear the heavens opened up and I saw the pearly gates. Then I understood. Pastor Ronald Donald Thompson. The newspaper in the wind. The ad for Pluckers. It was all coming together. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future", and his plan was coming into fruition. I didn't need Pastor Ronald Donald Thompson to guide me after all. Because I found God in these wings.
After waiting for an hour for our food. Which we had to take in boxes. The strips where not fully cooked. My friends wing had a feather still on it as well. This was my first time eating at this restaurant. I would rate a 0 star. I am very disappointed and grossed out at the same time. I have not even touched my burger at this moment but will post up on it as well if its not fully cooked.
Although wing prices have jumped due to supply reasons this is still my go to place for everything WINGS![[EDIT]]Okay, so my taxes came in and I went ahead and forked over the big bucks for some WINGS ?
I love Pluckers and have years of memories there with friends and family. The Addison location is notable for it's terrible parking logistics. Plan on parking in the garage and walking. That's the only reason for 4 stars vs. 5Pluckers has great sauces and when I was in recently they featured "flights" of sauces for your dipping pleasure. We ordered the grilled boneless basket (tenders) "naked" (without sauce) and enjoyed working out way through the variety.
This is the second time we order curbside at this location and both times we experienced mediocre service and cold food. Today, we ordered our food and arrived at the restaurant by the time our order was supposed to be "ready" by, but when we called them they said, "it's not ready, we'll bring it out when it is." 15 minutes passed and still nothing. We called again and some other guy answered and told us our food had been ready... so we got cold food. $50 worth of cold food. We will not be going back to this location.
I wish I could leave 1 star. We have been to this place twice and each time have issues. We order the michelada which is on the menu for $5 and once we get the check it’s charged as $10 because they brought us the big one. The menu doesn’t even show there are two different options and we explicitly told the waiter we wanted the $5 beer. When we asked for the manager, who we saw walking around, nobody came and instead the waiter charged us for 1 of them and the other two were charged as sodas and taken away from the table with more than half of it still left. We even explained to the waiter how the menu doesn’t specify the two sizes but every other drink on the menu does and we had told her many times we wanted the $5 drink. Won’t be coming back here.
Orders for pick up/delivery are NEVER correct!!! We order extra 8oz Blue Cheese and it is NEVER with the order. They give us 4 small black containers half full. I have weighed them. 6-7 oz. We complain. Then it is corrected with attitude. I am a VIP member for over a year.
