My pregnant wife ordered the Honey seared chicken and took a few bites but then noticed what looked like a baby cockroach on the side of her to go bowl. Completely disgusting and this should shut down a restaurant for food safety violations. We called to complain and the manager was only going to refund us that one entree, she eventually refunded the whole thing. This is disgusting on so many levels and all food was thrown out.
Been a few years since I've been to Pei Wei, used to order the orange peel beef, beef was wok cooked, dark color with some orange peels cooked in and some pieces of broccoli. Don't bother trying to go here now, their menus are changed up. This is now the McDonald's of Asian food. I never write a bad review, any restraunt can have a bad day. This is not the case with Pei Wei. Probably why the one in my neighborhood closed. This is my first negative review on a restraunt.
This review is for the specific dish I ordered only. It does not reflect on other dish that I've tried before.I ordered the grilled bourbon chicken (with fried rice) as they were promoting it. I received my order with brown rice and it contained small bits and pieces of chicken. It did not look anything like the photo. I notified them of the mistake. They were apologetic promptly rectified the situation.The second order looked more like what they were advertising. It had big pieces of chicken and as usual, the ingredients were fresh.However, it did have an after taste. I'm not really sure if was the spices that they used in the chicken or in the fried rice itself. It was okay. I liked the Mongolian Beef better though. That is what my wife and I usually order. Other favorites worth mentioning are their Orange Chicken, Pad Thai, Lettuce Wrap among other dish.Still definitely our go to place for a good meal.
The young man at the register was very nice and kind. I got the drunken noodles with tofu and shrimp, added brocolli omg it was amazing!!!!!! Also ordered some vegetable spring rolls ?Very satisfied and my food was fresh and steaming hot, LOVE IT!!! ❤️
Food and service alike are remarkable. Variety of options for patriots and the fearful alike. They even have the pick up option outside if you are under the weather or in a hurry or with little ones. I love this place!
one of the saddest chinese foods i ever had. the taste and the portion are both so not satisfactory.
There are two female chefs here tonight and my Lord were they HUSTLIN! The food and all else was also on point. 10/5!

I ordered online for pickup. Everything was great! The food was ready when I came to the store. Their menu looks super good, it makes me want to try everything. I picked the Dan Dan Noodles. The portion is huge. I think it can feed 2 people or 2 meals if you're eating by yourself haha. The sauce was a little spicy and the seasoning was just on point! They also have the calories listed on each items. I definitely will come back to try more dishes ?
Drunken Chicken was great. However what made the take out experience exceptional was Ms Shawn. I ordered and walked in a busy night of take out orders. I was greeted and after asking for the name on the order was assured my order was being worked on. There was great communication from the kitchen to the point a comment from the manager/ cook “you are doing great ms Shawn keep it up. What a great exchange. Ms Shawn must be one of the hardest working, gracious individuals working in food service right now. She deserves a raise and maybe some help at the front counter.
