We paid over $50 for 2 plates which wasn't a problem. My mother recommended this place and I've tried it before when she bought some food from here so my husband and I were really excited to finally get a small break from our children to go and dine in here. The atmosphere was chill and relaxing something all parents need once in a while and the food smelled and looked delicious. It also tasted pretty good then we noticed our pork ribs weren't thoroughly cooked once we got home because we had A LOT of left over food. Well as much as we enjoyed the place we became very disappointed due to the fact that we got really sick. I couldn't sleep because my stomach was aching so bad and my husband also had major stomach pain I'm guessing because of the undercooked ribs. We got really sick ?. We're still sick today 7/03/22. Now I can't eat and have to aid ourselves with electrolytes and bland foods due to the food poisoning. I really liked this place until this happened. ? Be careful guys if you decide to eat here look at your food thoroughly before consuming it.
Pretty good barbecue, their slice brisket is good as are Their ribs when they’re cooked long enough. If you go at lunch you’ll find the lines are usually pretty long. Like all barbecue nowadays it’s not cheap. They have pretty good sides and amazing desserts but be careful it’s eight dollars for a slice of cheesecake. I think they do have the best barbecue sauce in Texas. The papas chains used to always be a notch above the rest but ever since Covid It just doesn’t seem to be the same. Especially with the service.
The brisket was very flavorful and tender. Some of the best I've ever eaten. The pulled pork was great also. Both were almost melt in your mouth delicious! My sides were green beans and potato salad that were very tasty as well. For dessert I had an excellent piece of carrot cake. The staff was friendly and helpful, and greeted me when I entered. This is definitely someplace worth going back to the next time I'm in the area.
Went here on mother's day 2022. The brisket, potato salad, smoked dirty rice and beans are the best thing. The macaroni and cheese was watery . The BBQ sauce could stand to be remade like cook it. First time last time.
Great BBQ! Someone else in my group mentioned they wished their portion was more significant but it was dang delicious. Would recommend.
Great service and great food.... I have been their costumer for over 10 years and I never get tired of their food and flavor... Great BBQ place
Chopped beef fries.. These are my go to whenever I stop by here but this order my fries were burnt. So I just ate the meat off of them
Great food and friendly employees. I highly recommend eating here. Outstanding.
This place is open to dine inside for lunch but dinner is only to-go. Huh? Hopefully that's temporary. I'm pretty sure the food is still good but we didn't get to eat it. Getting food to go was not an option. We were on our way to a concert and didn't want to spend $40 for 2 meals then have to eat it in the car. We were disappointed, for sure.
Never pick up your food curbside, while waiting for the server to bring your order, drive through customers get their order with almost no wait. I ordered online and decided to pick up my order curbside, the order should be ready at 6:02 p.m, but at 6:20 p.m. the order was not ready yet. When I see drive-through orderers got their food right away and left, I know I made a huge mistake choosing curbside. They only care about the drive through customers, since they blocked the entrance. I guess that's the reason why more than 30 minutes of waiting, I was the only one at the curbside. The food is good as always, but if you decide to order take out, forget the curbside, choose drive through. Trust me.
