Cold brew taste like someone who’s never made one. The whole shop is chaotic. Staff not very friendly. Cappuccinos are decent. They seem like they’re in a rush. Overpriced for what you get.
Hey, this place is pretty nice! Came here to wait for my greyhound bus, and it's got a lot of unique nooks to sit in to enjoy your drink. I like the decorations and the overall vibe of the place, lots of dark wood and soothing brown tones.
Had a cute little best friend date here and the baristas behind the counters were not only friendly, but also quite knowledgeable! Mikaël gave me a delicious recommendation of a vanilla latte with a twist. The drink was AMAZING, so thanks to Sam! Great experience and can’t wait to bring another friend to try the lavender.
For all my 3rd wave coffee lovers, those that like dialed in espresso, fruity pour overs, and gentle cortados. This place really wont work, but it could! There’s so much potential here! Excellent location, a great double group head La Marzoco machine, peak grinders, mod bar in the counter pour overs, and more. I ordered a 5$ cortado and honestly, and I’ve been to hundreds of shops, it was one of the worst I’ve ever gotten. I asked for a for here cup and got a to go cup, and it was all mostly foam with burned milk underneath. The people were pretty friendly but no one smiled. I know I may sound overly critical but for all those seeking specialty coffee in Dallas, we know that Dallas is over saturated with places that think they’re specialty coffee. Ottos could be great, it could honestly be awesome. If they learned to steam milk properly, dial in espresso and make a menu with prices that resemble the product, it could be amazing. I really do respect Ottos and don’t want to be mean or disrespectful.
If I'm paying $6 for a takeaway croissant, plus tip for counter service, at a supposed upscale hotel coffee bar, I expect courteous, pleasant service. The woman(white, brunette) at the counter on the morning of May 11 was none of those things. Don't toss around my Almond Croissant. Don't manhandle it so the fillings pour out on to your counter. Don't have a snarky, nasty attitude. Adolphus management needs to work on their staff recruitment and training strategies. Paying customers have too many options around to have to put up with bad service and bad product.
Excellent coffee. Espresso was perfectly extracted. Beans had a sweetness and brightness that I haven't found in shots from other nearby downtown coffee shops. Expensive, but wonderful.
Good Coffee and some breakfast, fancy design interior
Wonderful vibe and ambiance here comes with delicious coffee and friendly staff. Really enjoy visiting here whenever I'm walking around downtown Dallas. Fair amount of seating and outlet for charging or working off a laptop.Had the cold brew with almond milk which was delicious!
One of the few places open for breakfast in downtown Dallas. It's a coffee bar with a few breakfast items. Crowded and noisy when we were there, but did the job.
Omg the coffee is actually terrible… sad I wasted money. Got a vanilla latte hazelnut latte and matcha and all of it taste actually terrible. The espresso shots taste as if they were watered down and the burnt. Not worth it at all.
