Found this spot on google, it was close to our hotel. Decided to uber over and it was exactly what I'd hoped for. An authentic feeling, family style, cozy restaurant. Started with a margarita, which was fantastic. Then, had the stuffed jalapeno peppers and flautas as starters, I get stuffed peppers everywhere, these ones rank top 3 all time for me. The qeuso was wicked too.Had the brisket tacos as my main and they were piping hot, crunchy and delicious. If I'm ever in Dallas again, I'd head here in a heartbeat.
This restaurant use to be a pleasant place to visit 3-4years ago. The front check out desk staff are not courteous and it is a family owned restaurant. Good customer service is very high on my list when it comes to dealing with customers. I make this restaurant my last resort for Mexican food and that is because they are prompt at bringing your food order.
My family and I decided we wanted some authenic Mexican that close by in the area. So we looked at the menu at home online and decided to call the order in. Afterward was told food be ready in ten minutes which I live maybe no more than 3 minutes. So went got the food and went straight home. The food wasn’t hot nor authentic. The taco was soft supposed to be hard. The enchiladas was straight chili and the hamburger meat look and taste like it was processed. The nachos was horrible. If I knew they served this type of food I wouldn’t waste my money or time. My first and last time eating there.
Ojeda's delivers an authentic Mexican food experience. Service is impeccable, order is always correct, read back; I have never had missing items. The sauces are not matched at any other restaurant - Ranchero has just the right seasoning, sour cream is delicious. My favorite item on the menu is #12 chili relleno of your choice-cheese, chicken or beef, sour cream chicken enchilada and a puff beef taco. They even have "gringo" mild salsa to eat with the homemade thin crispy chips! Pralines are available as well and cinnamon ice cream. Extensive variety of menu items including American choices.
Good place for good food and atmosphere
i always order a marg & menudo. best menudo i've had in dallas so far. the tortillas are too doughy, leave them bitches on the comal a little longer next time please. otherwise, lovely meal!

Love the atmosphere, great music, the food was very good and so were the drinks. We had a very nice attentive waiter.
The veggie fajitas were amazing! So many veggies, seasoned and cooked well! The staff was super friendly and attentive. Salsa was yummy with the right amount of heat.
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in the world. You start off with amazing chips and salsa. For an appetizer, the Sampler Platter has a little of all their best stuff. It also works as an entree, too. If you want something smaller to start with, their queso is the absolute best. I’ve been coming here for 15 years, and it’s made the exact same way every time. If you’re here for breakfast, their Carne Asada Huevos Rancheros is insane. There is literally no other place that has Carne Asada this good. And you must try their double refried beans. The staff is incredibly friendly, too. I’ve been seeing the same faces there for the past 15 years, so you know they know their stuff! Finally, if you want a drink, their margaritas are incredibly yummy and loaded. I’ve never been able to drink more than two!
