? Stopped by for the 1st time tonight with my family. Ordered 1/2 Chicken with sides and 2 gigantic loaded baked potatoes. Finished it off with the pound cake. Fantastic! Wow! We’ll be back!

Today, May 29, 2022, I visited your Duncanville location for the first time. I will never use this establishment again. I will also tell my friends or any one who ask me about it not to go there. I was picking up food for two friends and gave the person taking orders my two orders. When my number came up the order was incomplete. I told her I asked for two plates the same and 1/2 chicken and they could split it. She stated that I did not and stated that she read it back to me which she if she did she did not say the number. She started to be confrontational but I would not engage in the conversation with her because the room was crowded. I just told herI would like to order the same plate and preceeded to wait. As I sat there I observed her being argumentative with three other customers. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND LOUD. I will say that she greeted each person as they walked in the door and thanked everyone for their patience but there were several orders incorrect and she argued with the customer openly.If the food had been for me, I would have asked for my money back and left. Again. I will make sure no to recommend this business.
The cashier was very rude. Was really looking forward to eating there. Had my ma here from Houston trying to support a black own business. Never will I go there again! She was a younger female. Like mid 30s
This was my sister and I first time coming to this placeAs soon as we walked in we were not greeted .The man at the register said “How can I help you” in a aggressive tone.THEN he spoke to usI said “this is our first time” and we looked at the menu for a quick second, and left.CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY IMPORTANT!!Odom’s BBQ YALL NEED TO PRACTICE THAT MORE!!! We will NEVER step foot in that restaurant again ??
They are very rude here and have no customer service. After undergoing aggressive chemo and a autologous stem cell transplant I couldn't eat red meat due to a impaired immune system. I was having a amazing day and wanted some BBQ. Got in line and I was next to order. The lady asked "what would I like?" I told her "one moment please I'm still looking at the menu". The cashier said "baby, our menu ain't changed in 20 years. U wasting my time". 'Get to the back of the line then maybe you'll know what to order." I would never ever spend a penny here ever again!!!
This place has the worst attitude I have ever experienced in a restaurant over the phone. I called to place an order to make it expedited for pick up and she said we don’t take phone orders and I said oh I’m sorry I just want to support your business and she stopped and said we don’t take phone orders with a very firm tone very disrespectfully so sad to see all the bad reviews when you choose a family business versus a chain
Terrible service. Old lady server is rude and hard of hearing. Then she talks to her friends while serving which makes the line move slowly. The cashiers are friendly sometimes but today she was a horror!! If you can find another place to eat I advise you to because you never know. They might get your order wrong and then blame you. Then you can’t get your money back or get the them to make it right.
I wanted a chicken baked potato but they don't do chicken. I settled for a rib plate and that satisfied me just well. The food was hot and fresh.
I’m giving this a two because the woman at the register who is clearly miserable gives the worse service I’ve ever received. I love little hood spots with amazing food. But that goes out the windows when the service & attitude is horrible smh. First and last time coming here.
