My husband and I had the pleasure of being waited on by Juliette. She was very attentive, courteous and customer friendly. My husband had the smoked chicken, mashed potatoes , corn and rolls. I had the fried catfish, french fries, pinto beans, corn muffins and rolls. We both enjoyed our meals. Everything was fresh, hot and nicely prepared. We will return.
Maybe we ordered the wrong items!!! This was our first time eating here and I usually read the reviews prior, but didn't this time. I ordered online and picked up two meals. The Meatloaf looked like it was Spam it was packed down so I had to call the restaurant to ask what meat was used to make it because it didn't look like the normal ground beef meatloaf and I had to use a knife to cut piece I tasted. The Chicken Monterey grilled chicken didn't have any flavor and was dry. They put so much green juice in the container that the chicken breast was floating in it, but didn't add to the flavor because the greens didn't have much flavor either. Very disappointed with my first time experience eating here. Wasted $30.10 because we're not eating the rest of this so you're welcome for the donation.
So I looked up best burgers around me today on Google. Norma’s popped up. I love the breakfast but have never had burgers here. Ordered 2 and both me and my son were amazed at how good they were!! And so are the fries!! Everything is real and fresh, lettuce and bacon and so on. We were honestly impressed at how delicious they were! Highly recommend the burgers!
Was craving chicken fried steak and asked Google where near me was a good place. Norma's was the first result. I went early afternoon on a Sunday, about 1:15. They were busy with a short wait to be seated. I was seated, Ronda quickly greeted me and got me set with menu and a coffee. Took my order and in an amazing short period of time placed the chicken fried steak with three sides in front of me. You get to pick your sides from about a dozen choices. I had mashed potatoes, carrots and buttered corn. Everything was delicious!. Service was prompt and friendly.Norma's is diner style with booths and a very small counter.

So good! I couldn't even finish the CBGB because of the super warm & soft Rolls and cornbread that's brought out before the meal. (Not pictured) first time here and total walked out wobbling. Lol
1st visit to this location as we usually eat at one in Collin county closer to home. Outstanding service is what brings in the customers and the dessert if you leave room for it. Like us. Be sure to join their loyalty club to get discounts as we did on this visit. Very popular with groups of families and friends.
I do love myself a well prepared BLT. However, you will not find one at Norma’s! Actually, it may have been the most pathetic BLT I have ever eaten. The bacon was cold and chewy, the tomatoes…. Well, I’m not even sure what those were to be honest. And the lettuce was bagged, Iceberg salad mix. Right down to the egg I added on top, it was lousy. However, the fries were really good. And everything else coming out of the kitchen looked great other than my BLT. This is definitely a mashed potato and gravy type joint. So stick to those staples and you will be ok.
Don't tell me you gave me my correct order when I ordered and paid for 8oz. Then my husband omelette missing, they blamed doordash. Ok fine, what about my steak? I will order one thing and get something else in n return. Even when I order chicken fried chicken, I get chicken fried steak.
Was sad Adele wasn't working today. she is the best! Everyone says chicken fried steak. I say chicken fried CHICKEN!
