No service no acknowledgement! So disappointed ruined our whole night! It is my birthday weekend! Read oysters were so yummy too
Their crab corn bisque is hands down one of my favorite foods downtown. It's delicious!! I've tried lots of their food and everything is so good.
I was in town visiting from Memphis and stumbled across this place because they had bread pudding which I love! The atmosphere is very nice..bougie! The bartender was very friendly and attentive although it was just her. I got the Crawfish Creole Pasta. It was delicious! My mother had The Who Dat Special with the Fried Catfish along with fries and slaw. The slaw was disgusting but everything else was good. Their only vice is that they do not have sweet tea..only unsweetened. The bread pudding was good but it contains pecans! Give this place a try in downtown Dallas. Oh and I also had the spinach dip and gator bites as an appetizer. Delicious!! I will be back here next time! ♥️
I've visited this place at least 2-3 times a week and my bill is an average $27-$30 during lunch. I had the fried Catfish and shrimp, the Catfish looked perfect until I ate some and noticed the batter wasn't cooked fully in the inside and I trashed it. I call the same day and the manager on duty said to come back , but I couldn't at the time. So the next day I walked over with a friend to pick up lunch. I discussed the matter with the manager on duty (different) and he basically said there's "nothing he can do..once you leave they dont replace or give your money back" although I did not ask for either at the time. I was simply letting him know so he can rectify the problem since this is the 2nd time this has happened. ME OR MY 17 TEAM MEMBERS WILL NOT BE VISITING THIS PLACE ANYMORE!! THE CATFISH TASTE LIKE MUD AND BATTER FALLS OFF AS SOON AS YOU PICK IT UP. THE FACT THAT MY PATRONAGE IS NOT VALUED I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!! Also he informed my coworker that its $1.00 charge for extra ketchup.....pic below SHRIMP IS EXCELLENT LOVE THE SHRIMP.... He also suggest that I bite my food before I leave..lol
Terrible & will never be back. Servers are rude , manager is an absolute a**hole and very rude as well , & food is over priced and really not that great. McDonald's has better service . I would not recommend to even bring a homeless person this junk !! Stay as far away as possible !!
We hustled down from our room as we noticed, online, that they close at 9pm. Walked in the door around 8:10 pm. From across the room, waitress greats us, tells us that we can head back to a booth of our choice, and pull up the menu on our phones, adding that, "our kitchen closes at 8:30, so you'll need to order quickly."There was only one table seated in the restaurant and what appeared to be a single guest at the bar.No thanks.
Food was sooooooo good! And the people working there are the best!
Decent staff, food not that great. But kudos for trying with everything going on.
Service was great great and friendly! The servers are passionate and love the food, which translates to excellent recommendations! We had the alligator bites, the fish and chip special (cod) and the NOLA burger. The NOLA burger was cooked perfectly! Everything was tender and had excellent cajun flavor. All went perfectly with an Abita Amber cold beer!
We visited this place today for the 1st time. When I called to make a reservation I was told no reservation was needed as we could just walk in. Then the person told me to park at the Westin in self parking and they would validate the parking ticket, so I did as I was instructed. We ordered our food and we all ordered the who-dat special which came with fried fish and shrimp, fries, coleslaw and crawfish critters. I replaced the fries with red beans and rice. We alos ordered spinch dip and a wild strawberry walnut salad. To be honest the red beans and rice, spinach dip, salad and shrimp were good! The fish is where the food took a turn for the worst. The fish had more crust than fish. When I told the waitress about the fish she went got the manager and as soon as he got to the table he said I'm not exchanging it and walked off. Now if this is a so called New Orleans restaurant the fish should be the best thing on the menu and it was absolutely ?% horrible and the managers attitude matched ?. I don't know if it was the color of our skin or what but his mind was made up before he got to the table and seen the fish. No customer service skills what so ever, no wonder there was only us and another table there. I will never visit this place again. There are way to many Nola inspired restaurants in DFW metroplex with way better fish and way better customer servicer. I wouldn't waste my time or money ??? if I were you! To top it off when I left with a validated ticket, I still had to pay $5 for parking.
