Very bland. Almost no sort of flavor to it.. I did go before it closed around 8:30 but still. Only getting 2 stars because it was a good atmosphere & great service. Philadelphia roll was okay.. & the fire roll was nothing to run home about.
I love this place! I always sit at there sushi bar. They have great sushi and service!
Food was very good but the staff made us feel rushed to finish our meal and leave. We enjoy eating out and not being rushed. A meal should take time so you can have a good conversation without having the wait staff come and want to take your food off the table before you are done.
The food here is always fantastic! Personal favorites are the tonkatsu and the salmon teriyaki. The plum wine is delicious. Years after moving away from Addison, I keep coming back whenever an occasion calls for a nice dinner. 5/5 Highly recommend!
Business meeting with a good friend and new husband. Always seen Mr Sushi and even lived in Addison for years, but first time to dine. My friend was a regular and we sat and ordered at the sushi bar. Sushi was extremely fresh. Service and sushi chef very skilled and talented. My favorite was the A5 beef slices. Seared on both sides medium rare in the center. Absolutely melted in my mouth. Highly recommend this place if you like quality sushi with real Japanese sushi chef. Not a cheap place, but the quality was worth it.Will be back.
I had my first experience at Mr.Sushi this evening and it was GREAT! Everything was wonderful from the food to the great service! I will definitely be back and I am telling others to go as well! Prices were also fantastic! An overall great dining experience!
One of the best sushi restaurants I've ever been to!!! They don't serve you typical "American sushi", where the pieces are huge so people feel like they're getting their money's worth, they cut the pieces thin and nice so you can enjoy the taste. Presentation is impeccable, service is attentive, the chefs are friendly and talk with everyone. There were many regulars there, which is a sign of a great sushi restaurant. Don't sleep on this place, it's worth it! I'll be hitting them up again the next time I'm in the area.
My husband and I have been twice a week regulars for 25 years. They have never once disappointed. The original sushi die hards of Dallas won’t go anywhere else. Just the best. Staff and service great. Little turnover of staff. The place for the real sushi pioneers of Dallas.
Dude OMG I’ve been living in the Galleria/Addison area for a year and didn’t know about this place. Smoothest freshest Sushi, intimate atmosphere, great location and hospitable staff. I couldn’t say enough good things. Really affordable too, great date spot.. I’m toxic as hell not for me but for you; great date spot bro. Tell them I sent you. It’s a great Sushi spot probably one of the best in Dallas low key.
I lived in Tokyo for a few years. Speak fluent Japanese. I relocated from New York City which supposedly has the best sushi…. But let me tell you, ベンさん is a phenomenal sushi master and has the best fish ordering connections in the USA. From seasonal mushroom soup delicacy to the freshest Japanese scallop.
