Hands down the BEST chicken I have ever had. As soon as I walked in and saw the amount of people waiting, I knew it had to be good. I got the 2 PC dark - spicy... drove 12 minutes back to work before diving in and it was HOT AS CAN BE!! Soooo crispy and so delicious. I don't think I'll be getting my chicken from anywhere else after today
Every was great. The breading was crispy and nice on the white meat. Tenders were tasty but not really spicy. Can’t wait to go back. Worth the drive from Euless
This by far is one of my favorite places to get fresh fried chicken wings and tenders from. Now I will say my last 2 visits prior to this one I was highly disappointed because Mike's chicken typically makes each order fresh to order and the last 2 times i ordered i ordered tenders and the tenders and fries were not made fresh as I expected hence the reason for me giving them four stars and not 5. Today I ordered the spicy wings and they did not disappoint. They were made hot and fresh and now I will start back, and were absolutely delicious. Mike's you have regained a loyal customer back and I will start back patronizing your establishment again. ❤️
The food was excellent, and service at the counter was fast and friendly. Expect to wait a little bit for your food, because they cook your food when you order it. That’s fine, though, because that means your order is served as fresh as can be! I got the spicy two breasts plate with fries and cole slaw. Chicken had a slight kick to it, but wasn’t terribly hot at all. Also came with a delicious honey glazed biscuit and a few pickle slices. Oh, their ranch dressing is excellent, by the way. It was a lot of food and was all wonderful!! The only down side is that the inside is small, and the parking lot is also small and poorly laid out. Due to the cramped nature of the inside, make sure you’re in the right line to order, vs other lines for people waiting for their food to be prepared and the line for people picking up online orders. Other than that, it is excellent! Oh, and ask for extra napkins. You’re gonna need them!
Good value and big portions for nice, made to order fried chicken. Got their dark meat platter which came with a homemade biscuit and sides. The biscuit was pretty soft but not too buttery. We tried the green beans which were the best side—garlicky and salty. The creamy corn was okay, but just corn in a thin sauce. Coleslaw was crunchy and not too soggy but Mac n cheese was dry and not good.
This was my first time visiting Mike's Chicken. The food was really good, the beans had a kick to them, the spicy chicken with the honey mustard dipping sauce was delicious. When in the area I will visit Mike's again.
just some good ass fried chicken
I had 2 pc dark. The skin was nice and crispy. Batter seasoning was good, I prefer it more salty. Mike's Buffalo sauce is very good. Wednesday at noon they're very busy and I guess my order was special because orders around me were served up pretty quick while mine took longer but not horribly long. Place has a pleasant rustic decor.
First off the chicken is outstanding. Don’t let the bad reviews steer you from giving them a shot. I wish I could rate Mike’s Chicken a 4.5+ stars because they were definitely close to a 5. A few things I would like to note beforehand. The lobby there you place and pick up your order is small, so if your visiting around lunch time be prepared for it to get crowded. There is a Dine in area out past a side door but I wasn’t sure how may it can seat. The parking lot is very small too. Those are just a few things that can ruin your experience so I want to mentally prepare you for what to expect.Now on to the chicken. I got the (2) piece **Spicy** breast & Thigh with cream corn and French fries. The meal will come with a biscuit and pickle slices. The cream corn was amazing. Not too runny, not too sweet. The fries were very good, and the chicken was very crispy. The breading was a little light, not too heavy like a lot of fried chicken places. The chick was very juicy. The level of spice was hotter than I expected but was not too hot where you couldn’t enjoy your meal.I will definitely be going back to give them another shot because now I would like to try their non spicy chicken.
