Went for lunch and had a good selection for a lunch menu.Staff wore masks and gloves and were constantly cleaning. Very clean restaurant. Impressive.Friendly and helpful staff.Parking at the Highland village is very tight. Be ready for a busy parking lot.Good food!

You need something special from the custom menu, DONE! The will make it your own! What you want is your desire! Amazing experience, best food ever!I came from Arizona on a business trip and local friend brought me to Mi Cocina with the absolute BEST Mexican food I have ever had. Service was outstanding and the ambiance was fun.highly recommend to try Mi Cocina signature drink "Mambo Taxi" totally the best!!
The wait is always too long, even with empty tables. The bar staff is awesome, the hostesses are subpar. The food is below average.
This is a week late but oh so memorable. The bartenders and hosts up at the Monkey Bar last week were by far the most epic time ever. Chris and Brad i believe were on point with multiple orders and split checks. We absolutely tore it up and had the best time thanks to you and your staff up there. We will be back again next week and look so forward to it and the Mambos ...
Gem of Highlands park.Great Service.!Very Good Food.Mexican Platter was a must have thing.!And Nachos and Dips....Along with evening Ambience was added fun with friends.You will not fail here if looking for an excellent evening with friends with fun :)
The queso blanco is great! Love that it had tomato and peppers in it. The chips were just ok. Salsa was good, but spicy. Drank the mambo taxi and it was so good we got seconds. I had the tortilla soup. It had such good flavor and would recommend!
Amazing food and great hospitality. The hostesses Karina and Brenda were so kind and attentive. I wish all hostesses had such impeccable customer service. We enjoyed our visit from Tuscon at Mi Cosina at Highland Park. The two hostesses were so attentive and compassionate due to my recent surgery and being in pain. They sat us so I would be able to sit comfortably which I truly appreciated.
So the food is always good, hot, fast. The service it's fast but kinda rude I thought. It was just a simple to go meal for which they make you walk all the way inside through the restaurant to the packed bar to order. How dumb is that. Ppl order takeout so they don't have to get ready to go out to see or be seen, or things along those lines.. whatever it is the take out experience should be quick and shouldn't involve having to walk all 5he way through a maze of tables and ppl eating. Then of course it's bar tenders and they look at you as an inconvenience. I bought 1 diet coke while waiting. $3.. no straw or cup of ice. Handed me a can instead. Then make sure you ask them for silverware. Been to several of their restaurants and the takeouts never have any put inside the bag. The food again is wonderful and fast and hot.. but like their service and attitude needs some adjustment for sure. You'd never experience that at Uncle Julios or Gloria's.
