This is a terrific chain and spot to grab a quick meal, and it's still a good value for your dollar at McAlister's. I've been eating at McAlister's since 2010 or so and although the menu hasn't changed much it's still as good as it ever was quality wise, though they could stand to get some more side dish options. Great option for $10-12 a person.
This is the friendliest staff, food was good too!We came to Dallas to escape the bad storms in east Tx… I forgot my purse on the back of my chair! Being from Pennsylvania I was very worried… but thanks to the amazing staff they kept it safe in the back! Big shout out to Christine R and the entire staff, I am forever grateful!
If I could give this 0 stars I would. But, today my experience was frustrating. There was a guy name chris who left me irritated. He was taking my order which was a Cesar salad but I wanted deli meat ( chicken preferably but not the grilled chicken) and he kept arguing with me as he didn’t understand what I was saying. He could of just told me that they didn’t have that, that they only had turkey, ham, Etc. He was rude because he was rushing and probably irritated before I gave my order. He did not have good customer service. Everyone is usually nice when I go there. I felt embarrassed in front of all the other customers there. Him raising his voice was not necessary. So for that I give 0 stars. He needs more training on how to talk to customers. You do not raise your voice because you’re confused and frustrated with someone’s order.
Delicious and clean. i couldn’t believe how big the salads were for the price!
Sandwiches were great, staff was friendly, restaurant was clean. All in all, a very pleasant experience.
Super nice and friendly staff, couldn't be any happier with the food and overall experience. This restaurant is a definite favorite.
Some times in my omnivorous life, I find myself craving a certain thing that I cannot place my finger on. I will know it when I see it. This was my dilemma while at McAlister's Deli. Having never been here, I took my time perusing the menu much to the chagrin of the young woman behind the counter. Finally I settled on the Veggie Spud and took my order number placard from the masked cashier. In no time, a server brought my lunch on a metal tray. It's on a tray because it is so big it would not fit on a standard dinner plate. Seriously, this thing is a monstrosity. It's a Russet potato served quartered with broccoli, red onion, fresh spinach, various sliced peppers and Ro-tel queso sauce.I swear this meal weighed 7 lbs. without the tray. The table tilted when the server sat it down in front of me. I know things are bigger in Texas, but this is ridiculous. The Veggie Spud costs $7.19 which is an amazing value when you consider all the food you get. After eating the better part of this huge stuffed tater, I needed a nap. McAlister's Deli- come hungry, leave happy.
I should have gotten a refund on pre-authorized tip given that I went in to pick up my order after waiting 15 minutes for curbside delivery, to no avail.
Good club sandwiches. Place is always clean.
The food and the prices are great here. And the service is top-notch.Because of some miscommunication they accidentally ordered the wrong salad for me and I didn't check it until I got home.Called back and the Manager Cameron told me to come back and they would fix it. Went in the next day, told the cashier what happened and she ordered me the correct salad .No charge. That is how to build loyalty.Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.
