I spent $60 and this food was just nasty! I thought added a little of my own seasonings would help but it did not smh. First there was an odd smell coming from both the shrimp and chicken broccoli. Second the chicken as you can see looks like canned chicken and the broccoli smh. The rice was not hot, I could tell if was not fresh fried rice and it was very bland! Steak on the stick was so cold, I had to reheat it! it was not tender at all and that was before reheating. I was looking for some good authentic Chinese food and the was not close to it at all! Nothing was fresh I am so upset!
The meals are over priced for the quality of food. I ordered the grilled chicken teriyaki for dinner and it was flavor less. I found a piece of cloth in my fried rice which the owner just tried to justify that it was on the grill when it’s cleaned. He then proceeded to speak with the table behind him and ignored me. I will never return here.
The food here was AMAZING! Got the food to go as I was only in town for two nights and wanted to relax at the hotel. The Peking Duck and Egg Foo Young were superb! Very satisfied. Additionally, I left my card at the location after payment and Chi Chi (owner) called me immediately and let me know if I didn’t want to come all the way back she would hold for me no problem. They go above and beyond. Great service.
This is a Chinese restaurant that sells Americanized chinese food. Its food items are similar to those that you would find in panda express or Leanne Chin. I like the atmosphere the restaurant provides, quiet and cozy. As opposed to many Chinese restaurants, they do provide good service. If you enjoy typical American Chinese food, you should consider visiting this one.
I just moved to Dallas and figured that I couldn't go wrong with a spot on Belt Line. The food is pretty bad and I wish I was exaggerating. It looks like it came frozen and was warmed up in the restaurant. The beef and broccoli was terrible. One bite and I was done, plus the meat was a dull gray color. The shrimp fried rice is at least edible if you're hungry and that's the reason for 2 stars - not 1. The search continues.
Ahhh....a legendary Dallas restaurant. I absolutely love this place. The ambiance there has a very vintage Hong Kong vibe (though not sure if this is that particular regional cuisine) and it's run by a very gracious family. Pretty much everything I've tried there is delicious. My favorite being the chow fun noodles and their spectacular orange chicken. I would say this Chinese fare comes pretty close to the food back home in Northern California which I haven't found a comparable restaurant other than this one. Truly a favorite place to dine in or take out ❤
This wasn't quite the experience, For some reason my shoes kept sticking to the carpet in the dining area. I ordered lemon chicken and crab rangoons. The breading for the chicken and the lemon sauce wasn't up to par. I haven't had crab rangoon with real crab but these didn't taste bad. I just expected a higher quality in all. Also the egg drop soup was poor & the wanton strips they presented were half crushed up on a plate.
Excellent, attentive service, the restaurant has a relaxing, soothing vibe. My sweet and sour shrimp was excellent. My mom ate the Szechuan eggplant and she said it was excellent. Very large portion. May Dragon has a large, private room, where I attended a private event.
For a first timer, I really enjoyed the food. It was fresh and good. The atmosphere was beautiful and peaceful. I was really nice to go somewhere and eat and it be so welcoming. So I highly recommend
The food is good but the service is bad. Called up to the restaurant and told them I never got my drink and the best I could get out of them was “we are willing to take the loss”. Thanks a lot. No refund, no credit, no sending another one. Just “call DoorDash and tell them. Poor service.
