This place is horrible! The tasteless, loud music played to midnight most weekends ruins the neighborhood. I’ve complained to the City and intend to continue raising complaints until our they respect nearby residents and impose strict volume and time limits for all events hosted on the property. In the meantime, enjoy this 1 star review.
Living across from this venue is truly obnoxious. The same cookie-cutter wedding every weekend, (most weekends being all weekend.) They use the same DJ with the same Playlist every wedding as well. They play said music extremely loud..I live on the 16th floor and we have to yell if we're outside. Can only imagine how overwhelming it is at the actual reception. The venue is also conveniently located next to 5 lanes of traffic, including a primary emergency route. So you're guaranteed to get fire truck sirens going through your ceremony at least once. I'll never understand why anyone would pay this venue's prices.
Very nice place for special events like a rehearsal dinner. Staff served continuously, drinks were readily available. Too chilly to use outside facilities - but they did look nice. Setup for dinner was excellent.
Wow this unbelievable! I never thought I can make real money from Forex trading. I thought everyone on the platform were just scammers who have no human feelings . I got scammed a few times. Please be careful while investing I know there are real managers and I have met one. Mr Brett Corey is a real and legit manager who will do anything just to make you get your profits after your trade duration . He has done that for me, now I don't have to worry about cashing out my profits . He will put a smile on my face once again, you can contact him via email: [email protected] WhatsApp: +1(628)243-1025
I had my wedding at Marie Gabrielle a few weeks ago and I really cannot recommend them as a wedding venue. The staff were comically disorganized throughout the entire planning process. They would not respond to our emails/questions for weeks on end, and made so many massive mistakes from day 1 through to the wedding day. Their event coordinator was so bad she got fired 3 days prior to our wedding. Some of the more egregious issues we encountered include: (1) they gave us the wrong venue dimensions so we had to redo our entire seating chart ON the wedding day which was super stressful, (2) it took over an hour to feed our guests, the veggie dishes came with zero sides on them (even though we paid for sides), half the sides were not even cooked, and they forgot to serve about $300 worth of wedding cake, (3) they ran out of liquor even though we paid for an open bar, (4) during our food selection process, they just arbitrarily decided to raise the price of every dish by $10 one day and didn't even tell us, we just caught it because we're careful (this information was not in their pricing packet, they refused to explain why, and they refused to put us in touch with higher ups to discuss why the prices were raised). I could go on and on about all of the ridiculous sh*t that happened while planning with them but it would take a year. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because the venue is beautiful. Unless you are super committed to this exact spot in Dallas and are willing to put up with a bunch of nonsense and potentially have a super screwed up wedding, I would absolutely avoid this place at all costs.
What a beautiful and classy setting for a private function!
We had the BEST and most BEAUTIFUL experience for our October 2021 wedding at Marie Gabrielle for just over 100 guests! We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in the garden at Marie Gabrielle and everything was so incredibly beautiful. Also, THE FOOD was amazing! Honestly tasted better the day of the wedding than during our tasting months before! We couldn’t believe how much our guests ate, which we couldn’t blame them because everything tasted so incredible! The team at Marie Gabrielle went through a few staffing changes throughout the 16 months or so from when we booked our date to the actual wedding day, but the team collectively made sure we were taken care of during each handover. The online system that the Harwood company uses to manage events makes it super easy to communicate with the planning team and keep track of documents, decisions, and invoices. The kitchen and wait staff did amazing at executing on the day of and made sure to work so well with our wedding coordinator so that everything was done in a timely manner. We could have not been happier with how our entire wedding day went at Marie Gabrielle and will remember it forever.
The most exquisite outing I've had in a very long time. The perfect garden setting. I loved the Chessboard scene. The iron art work is incredible. 5
We were at this location as part of a wedding. They accommodated last minute weather changes fairly well. The wait staff was on top of it making their way through entitled guests who refused to move from narrow pathways with grace and ease. The bartenders handled requests quickly and readily even when over 100 people crowded them at once. The food was ok, we had a filet which I imagine for the 160 guests there were, were all cooked just past medium for safety, and it still was tender and somewhat most amazingly. Is like to visit this place on a regular day to see what their normal faire is like.
So disappointed. I scheduled an appointment to tour the venue and they canceled on me the day of, 4 hours prior due to a “mandatory meeting”. My mom, fiancé, and I all had to take half days to tour it since they only allow tours very specific times during the weekday. I expressed how inconvenient this was a never got a response. Why would I work with a venue that can’t even go through with a simple tour? What if today was my wedding day? Very poor customer service.
