This is a nice cafeteria that it’s been in business for years and it is well known in Dallas, their food always taste good.. I only have one complain, The owners have not invest any money at all to maintain this building in decades.. The moment you walk into the restaurant It smells old. The building it’s old N it looks like they haven’t been kept in years. In the bathroom there are tiles on the walls that are missing n never been replaced. Ceiling walls tables and everything it’s the same situation old and disgusting.
I ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and fried okra with Mac and cheese. It was all good the chicken fried chicken was delicious it was seasoned just right, and it was easy to cut with your fork. Overall the food was delicious and the service was great as well. Y'all should stop by one day and taste for yourself. That was my first time eating there.
I’m use to the Plano location and can always tell when the food comes from this location on Door Dash. This location needs help. The food is always the wrong portions. The chicken breast is always under-seasoned or not seasoned at all and dry. The turnip greens aren’t seasoned at all. I felt like I completely wasted my money the two times I accidentally ordered from here. You all need to consult with the cooks at the Plano location because the food quality is shameful.
I was excited at first, but the chicken and dressing was horrible. The gravy tasted like pure eggs, everything was different from the one in the design district and the one in Irving. Will never go back.. it was a waste
Small local chain that's big on taste and value.Old-school diner vubrs with decor that's not been updated since it was built. Humble and honest breakfast fare with all the usuals.Staff was crazy nice and service was fast! Food was great, with healthy portions in everything we ordered. Possibly too much food!
I've eaten at 3-4 locations in the DFW Metroplex over the last 15 years...breakfast and lunch. Once again, every eating experience is delicious, in a family environment. Staff was attentive and pleasant. So good! Thank you!

Classic diner experience, they have always great for those super early morning breakfasts with friends, but what really separates a diner from the pack is the service, and Edwin and Antonio go above and beyond in courtesey even during rush hours and took great care of myself and my group, and I really appreciate their level of attentiveness.
Hidden gem! Don’t let the location, and outside looks stop you from coming inside. Definitely an old school dive diner. The inside vibe is great, friendly staff, great food, and clean bathrooms.
Mam's Daughters Diner is always great. If you want good old home-style cooking, meat & 3 vegetables, you can't go wrong.
