I absolutely love this restaurant and dine here on a regular basis. This evening there were two young ladies sitting at the seafood bar in short cutoff shorts and string bikini tops. It was extremely unpleasant to see while trying to enjoy a nice dinner. I am very surprised there is not some type of dress code required. Iâm sure I was not the only one that had the same thoughts.

Food is awesome and itâs a great experience every time. We always order the Elvis Tuna Tartare and it is so delicious. Also love the glazed chicken bowl (specials menu), but be careful the chilis are HOT. So good!

Lovers Seafood and Grill is a casual dining restaurant serving Contemporary Californian/seafood cuisine located in Dallas, Texas. This was my first time eating there. We were looking for a place to grab a quick bite after landing at DFW, came across this place on OpenTable and booked it. In terms of options, the menu offerings are extensive,. Regarding quality and presentation of food, the restaurant was very good. Some of the menu items I tried include: Tempura Fried Lobster Spoons, Crispy Shrimp "Corny Dog", Elvis' Tuna Tartare Tower, and the Old School Griddled Lobster "Tacos" which were all very good. Everything was cooked to order. Portion size was appropriate for the price point and restaurant style. Customers can expect to pay roughly thirty person, including drinks. During this most recent visit, we did make reservations in advance, and it took approximately 0-5 minutes to be seated. Drinks came out fast. Appetizers came out fast. Main courses came out fast. The serving staff was friendly and hospitable. I’d best describe the atmosphere of the restaurant as being laid back; seems to be a popular lunch spot. It’s feels trendy without being stuffy, which does lend itself to the intended brand identity and cuisine style. Regarding ambiance, the restaurant is naturally lit and the noise level is average. It is a good choice for families with small children or those looking to grab a quick bite. Scale wise, tables are spread out within multiple dining rooms, lending itself to the restaurant’s comforting and casual feel. Overall, I would recommend.
Trying Lovers Seafood for the first time we arrived just before 6pm without a reservation. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The Bourbon selections was very extensive and my favorite pours were reasonably priced. You can go nuts if you want with a Michters 20 or RVW, but a 2oz pour of Stagg Jr for $16 is a no brainer.Our Server Patrick was very attentive and service in general was everything you might expect in a great restaurant. Thanks to Jodie for checking on our experience we look forward to seeing you again soon.My wife had the Rosewood smoked Salmon and I had the Chilean Sea Bass. Both were perfectly prepared. The Rosewood Smoked Salmon had the perfect amount of smoke that was not overpowering. The Lemon-Horseradish sauce was sublime with a nuanced bite that enhance the flavor while not overwhelming to Salmon taste..The Seabass was pan seared to perfection with a cauliflower rice side paired with string shaved vegetables. Delicious!We finished off the dinner with a slice of Key Lime pie which had a delicate thin gingerbread crust, the perfect key lime taste and topped with fresh whipped cream and a tender ripe raspberry.Lovers Seafood is a new contender for my favorite DFW seafood restaurant. 5 Stars In my book!I'll be back!

We ended up at an inside table which was great. Tables are a bit crowded, but it DOES add to the vibrant energy of the restaurant. Nice job.
Went here for a birthday dinner on a Friday night. It was busy, bustling, but the service or food did not suffer at all. Our waiter, Doug, was attentive and helpful. Everyone in our group of 9 loved their food, the highlights being the shrimp and grits, fried calamari, and yellowtail demesy bowl. Will definitely return for our next celebration.
