Giving a two star review because of customer service. This is literally the best pizza in Dallas in my opinion, yet the past two times we tried going to Louie’s the hostess that sits you is extremely rude. If you have more than 4 people she’ll make sure to let you know with a “why are you even here?” tone that you can only have tables of 4. Then we she sits you she’ll make backhanded rude comments and continues with the “why are you even here” tone. Very disappointing for an establishment with good food to be tarnished by very bad customer service.
In my humble opinion, this is the best spot for pizza and a dirty martini! Service is always awesome and super friendly. We always keep it simple with sausage, peppers, and onions on the pizza, and the thin crust is magic.
We came in with high expectations after this place was recommended by our friends. We left completely underwhelmed. Pizza was dry, and burnt. Told the staff and he said "ok" and did not even offer to make it better. Terrible service even worse food. Went to another place and got the Chicago Pizza we actually wanted. Won't be back for sure.
One of the greatest Dallas dive bars. Legendary for stiff drinks and healthy pours. Good bar pizzas cut square. Louie C may be gone and it’s cleaned up a bit, but the vibe remains.
This place is my go to for thin crunchy yummy pizza. The Caesar salad is a must and I aways recommend the spaghetti and meatballs. The bartenders know how to pour a solid cocktail and the casual pub vines make a nice date spot. RIP Louie.
If you are in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area and want pizza, this is by far the best. They have other things but I get the pizza. I am am from Chicago. My Dad and sisters family live a hour away in FT. Worth and they come here. Oh , also it was featured on Diners Drive ins and Dives.
Love coming here. Classic old school dive with great za. Bartender here makes the best martini in Dallas. The joint fills up fast so get there early.
We saw Louie's on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. We have family from Waukegan, IL so we had to try it out. I had a pizza & my husband had the meatball sandwich. We were not disappointed. The meatball sandwich had great flavor. The Meatballs were not dry. The sauce & cheese combination was really well done. I had a hamburger, onion & bacon pizza on their thin crust. It was absolutely killer. They know how to make a pizza. The crust was thin, flaky & done just right. The sauce was unlike a pizza sauce I've had before. It was a mild tomato flavor & not overpowering in the slightest. Absolutely recommend their food. My only criticism is they could use more parking.
Great food and drink. Very laid back atmosphere. Fast and friendly service. No kids allowed after a certain hour. Love it!
Picked up pizza for the office team...Love a good cracker crust sausage pizza...Was outstanding out of the oven...Would suggest that it's eaten right there... (why wait for that to go home ... I couldn't- polished off a pie and ordered more to go. I love a good Chicago thin crust pizza - definitely going back for more and it's a heck of a cruise but well worth it!!
