Tried this restaurant last night and we loved it! I love the hot pot individually lots of choices, the grilled too much we didn’t finished all the meat just a lot for us.lol. And the people works there are very accommodating specially Ms. Moon I thing that’s her name. But my family enjoyed it we don’t have this kind of restaurant in Amarillo. Definitely coming back when never were in Dallas. ?
Came in about 4:30 on a Saturday. Got seated relatively quick and our experience when south from there. Our waitress was short with us ordering our food (decided to try the KBBQ), and left before we could place our drink order. Received our sides quickly, and that was the only quick thing of the evening. From there it took about 10 minutes to get our first set of meats (can only get three at a time), and enjoyed all of the food we received. From there our waitress disappeared completely and we were taken care of by a different waitress, who was kind and personable — unlike the other. We received our second set of meats very quickly and then did not see anyone come to our table for about 20 minutes. We would have ordered more food, but due to the amount of time it was taking, it was unforeseeable how long ordering anything else would take. At about the hour mark, our original waitress finally came back and I had a chance to ask whether we pay at the front or if we would ever receive a check, “Already done?” She asks. Well yes. We honestly had been done 20 minutes ago but no one bothered to check in with us. The cherry on top of our whole experience was getting our check back only without the card that we paid with. It was still in the card reader. Unable to flag anyone down to get it, I retrieved it myself.If the service had been as good as the food, I think I would enjoy coming back. But for $75, I don’t plan on seeing Lee DaeGam KBBQ & Shabu anywhere near my future.
Nice place for enjoy hotpot and grill. If you want get hotpot and grill at the same time, here is the best idea. Environment is so quiet, and the staff is so nice for take care your food and what you need. The food is good for both hotpot and grill. Especially I like the meat for grill at here like pork belly, bulgogi,..etc. In the wrap up, everything good here, nice place for lunch or dinner, and enjoy family time. ALL YOU CAN EAT !
Wanna Shout out to Nina, What an amazing service I got. It's our first time there and she did an amazing job getting us all the orders so quickly and taking care of the table so well. The foods here are amazing!!! We went to a party of 5 and we got the Shubu and BBQ.
Hot pot bases are very bland and super oily. Selection is ok for hot pot but the meat quality is not good. The KBBQ meat was much better quality and yummy. Our server left half way through without telling us and no one took over until we said something. So about 20 mins with no service. Service otherwise was good. Cheese corn tasted old, like the cheese had been sitting there for awhile.
Excellent food and service. First time eating there and will definitely come again.
This place was a 4/10 at best. There was plenty of seafood variety one of which tasted expired, including the crab. Staff failed to mention how to adjust the temperature settings which resulted in boiling broth that scolded our mouths. The spicy broth was 90% chili oil and 10% beef broth. Wouldn’t come back after a meal like this and definitely not worth paying $50 for lunch of 2 people.
Omg! The best! I was amazed at how great everything tasted. The staff was really nice as well. Laura was the best server. Taking the fam there for sure!!!
The food was great. I think the service sucked. Maybe they were under staffed. But if It am paying $30.00 a person. I should have a near perfect experience.
Wow! 9/10I liked this place much better than the ever so popular Jin KBBQ. All the meat here was tinder, tasty and pre-flavored to perfection. The Pork Belly, Bulgogi and Spare Ribs are out of this world. Sketchy neighborhood but restraunt is nice inside and out. I deducted 1 star cuz my diet cokes were $2 for each 12oz can. I would highly recommend this place.
