We went for the Restaurant Week menu and enjoyed a lovely, delicious meal. The salmon was so good.

Always enjoy the food at Lavendou. Great steaks and fish dishes and excellent French wines. Only thing that we were not happy about was the very pricy $17 small cosmopolitans :-
We love this gem in the heart of North Dallas. We usually start with the Moules Marinière au Safran. As always it does not disappoint. We both cannot do fresh garlic and this sauce is amazing! The fillet was delicious as well as the chocolate soufflé. You simply cannot go wrong here. Service was a bit slow but when in "France" why hurry? A simply must do if you love a good old fashioned French Bistro for dinner. Muah!

Our favorite French bistro in the Metroplex. We are regulars because the food, service and ambiance never disappoint.
Everyone enjoyed appetizers except for one: his French onion soup was lukewarm. The soft shell crab was amazing - I wished I'd ended as an entree. Several of us were very excited at the prospect of one of the specials (beef stroganoff), and rather disappointed at the result: overall, while the pasta and meat were well prepared, the flavor was mediocre and, more importantly, not Beef Stroganoff (at least that had been seen in Russia or Germany!) Full of tomato, the normal beef & cream flavors were overpowered. If you want French stroganoff, maybe this is your spot. Of course, we ended on a high note (soufflé), so that was nice...
We met friends for dinner and we had a wonderful time. We sat and visited for 4 hours, enjoying wine, appetizers, delicious entrees, and dessert. Pascal and his staff are so attentive, making sure everything is perfect.
This was a birthday dinner. We had a great time. The ambiance was terrific and the service was terrific. The waiter spoke French and did a great job helping selecting a wine. The food was delicious. My wife had the rack of lamb which was cooked perfectly and I had to sole. The fish was well cooked and the sauce was incredible. For desert the soufflé is a must have. We enjoy French food and are thrilled to have a place like this to add to our dining rotation.
