Cheap beers and plenty of booths to sit in. Love it

A classic local destination for burgers, beers, and cheap cocktails. The bartenders have a heavy hand, and they use paper tickets to keep track of tabs, and an old-school register. It fits with the vibe. Pictures and local memorabilia all over the walls…tags and stickers all over the bathroom walls. A pool table in the back with some creaky booths and antique chairs. The bartender chad is great, but the staff in general there seems to enjoy their jobs, and they’ve all been there for a number of years. This bar is great for early beers and dinner, and also for late night partying and smoking and such outside. A versatile local gem, LL will always be a place I bring people who don’t know east Dallas well. I used to live nearby. I’d skate up there every weekend. I still feel right at home at Dallas’ best burger-centric dive bar. Also a perk, a great jukebox. For me, that can make or break a dive bar. Also, cosmos a few doors over shares the space in a complimentary fashion. Great drinks and great food there too! I’ll be back.

6/19/22 two black men walk into a packed bar of older white people...ten mi uses later and no employees speak....we leave. Welcome to 2022! That's just sad!

This has to be the most trash place I’ve ever been to. I even called the place the very next day and spoke with the assistant manager explaining my poor, poor experience and all he could do was apologize which I totally sympathize- but I work too hard for my money. The “manager” apparently was the one serving us. And I’m not going to get into detail. I’ll just say biased, racist, and downright disrespectful. No one deserves to have their food or napkins thrown at them. I literally lost my appetite and I hate feeling like I have to bother someone to do their job. Going out is an experience. Sorry man- I called to see if they could fix their mistake. Sadly offered no suggestion other than a “come back and see us”. Never coming back again. I took this up with my bank.

This is a mega hidden gem for some amazing bar buffalo wings. Crispy and a tangy buffalo sauce. The ranch is top notch too.

Cheap and easy. Good food and good service. Been going since 94. Miss you Cullen, Slim, and Jim. And what's her name that charged you twice. Can't say about weekend nights cause I'm lazy. Also miss the Seeburg table side jukeboxes from the smoke inside days.

Badass dive bar the best of the bartenders best food best drinks best atmosphere coolest hippie people laid back rock and rollers getting down with your bad self

Great dive bar. Great vibe, prices and service.

Awesome establishment! Very midnight to old school vibes inside while outside if it didn’t have a big ole sign you wouldn’t think twice it was the place. Wings were awesome and the customer care was phenomenal, the bartender even came up to me at the table all the way in the back asking me if I wanted a refill on my Guinness. I’ll tell ya it was a pleasant experience. I felt very subdued from the dark environment while at the same time feeling like it was popping in there with everybody. Loved the old frank sinatra playing, reminded me of nyc but I knew I was in Texas! Felt I was cared for the whole time and the wings, THE WINGS WERE HOT & GREAT! Thanks for the celery, you know it’s a real one when they throw in the celery!!
