Love this restaurant. My wife and I came here with my sister after her recommendation. If you're looking for some good food and service, I don't think you can go wrong here.Had the meatloaf (or should I say shared the meatloaf lol) and we all agreed it was top notch, if not the best we've had. Thank you Mark and Tyler for the personal service and such a good dinner experience. I pray you prosper!
Came here yesterday for the first time and had the shrimp tacos which were so good I came back today and got them again. Sat at the bar yesterday don’t recall the bartenders name but the service was great. Brought my brother and sister in law today and everything was amazing. Service was awesome and the food was great again. My brother had the meatloaf and I tried it…..I think it was honestly the best meatloaf I’ve had.since I was 8 years old…..Tyler waited on us and he was friendly and had great menu recommendations. Also talked to the manager Mark and he was also super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Great experience and will definitely be back since I live right down the street now! ❤️?
We had a last minute party of 17 and even during politcal times like these where everywhere is understaffed, the Lakehouse was able to take us in and deliver a wonderful dining experience. We were a bit skeptical upon first pulling up to the location as the property wasn't fancy but the food was delicious! DrC
We had a reservation and showed 5 minutes early. We were seated right away by friendly staff. Drinks were served immediately. The food was ok but not worth the hour and fifteen minute wait. Not the waiter's fault, not the bar's fault. The kitchen had some kind of issues today I'm sure. My eggs benedict had flavor only from the ham involved. My family's chicken and waffles were practically inedible from the toughness of the waffles. My sister described them ad "boot leather". We wondered at the long wait for such lack luster food. When we asked for butter (hoping to soften the boot leather waffles) only enough for 1 person was brought despite butter being apart of the advertised waffles on the menu. Hope for better for others who visit.

We had a group of 16 including 8 kids try to get reservations last minute for a last minute get together. We tried all over North Dallas. Nobody wanted to seat us. Not only did the Lake House take our reservation with only a 30 minute warning but they were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Service was fantastic. Food was served quickly and was great. I had the Hanger steak and it was cooked perfectly to order and the butter fries were delicious. The kids enjoyed all their food and everyone was full and happy when we left. Thank you so much!!!

Mark and his entire staff was absolutely amazing!! They were friendly, even though our waiter had other tables, he kept coming back in a timely fashion to make sure we were ok. The Mango Mojito was bomb and the food tasted great.
