I feel like I was back home in New Orleans. It made my day to eat here, forreal. The cornbread dressing was seasoned to perfection, the Mac and cheese was so creamy and had extra cheese sprinkled on top, and I had never seen ribs that were fried but man they were good. And you know that barbecue sauce hit. It did my soul good. Thank you to the kind staff, wonderful cooks and an owner that wishes blessing on people! Y’all are doing the Lord’s work. ? Absolutely amazing. I love the Chicken tetrazini, and the dressing and gravy. The staff is also amazing. If you call in to order and pay you won't have to wait for your food.

Heard great things about the chicken and dressing and decided to taste it for myself. You can could taste the seasoning on the chicken. Yams and greens were fresh and delicious. The dressing is made the right southern way. Very clean with great customer service. I Highly recommend this black own restaurant. Peach cobbler might have been the best part!!Ambience was great! I will be returning!!
Yesterday, I was excited when I googled restaurants near me and I found Kendall’s. Sunday, April 3rd, my daughter and I decided to try them. After all, they had great reviews. We were there a few minutes prior to them opening. So, we reviewed their online menu, and when tried to place our order, we found many of the things that were on the menu weren’t available. For example, my daughter wanted to order burgers for my grandchildren, but they weren’t available. I wanted the Cajun grilled fish, but they only had fried fish. We wondered why they had such good reviews, because the service left much to be desired. My daughter and I reasoned maybe they had really good food, but that wasn’t the case. The okra gumbo was terrible. It was no more than tomato sauce, tomatoes, onion and okra mixed together. The dressing was Stove Top Stuffing at best, and the collard greens were under cooked. Perhaps, we caught them on a bad day, but nevertheless, first impressions make lasting ones. Based on my experience, I will not return. I’m writing this review in an attempt to help the owner improve their quality of food and service. Also, I want save others money, and time based on inaccurate reviews.
FIRST TIME TRYING THIS PLACE WAS SUNDAY & IT WAS GREAT..SMALL BLACK OWNED BUSINESS..VERY VERY CLEAN & CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GREAT..!! I LOVED EVERYTHING,BUT MY CABBAGE WAS BLAND WITH NO TASTE AT ALL..MY DRESSING WAS DELICIOUS & MY ROASTED CHICKEN FELL OFF THE BONE LOL..MAC & CHEEZ WAS GREAT AS WELL..I GAVE FIVE STARS EVEN WITH BLAND CABBAGE THATS HOW GOOD THE FOOD WAS..!! I WILL BE BACK..!! THANKS FOR AN GREAT EXPERIENCE..!!

The food is good when they haven't run out of it especially on Sundays. They are closed when they are supposed to be open, this happens often. There is always an issue or emergency. And you're opening a second location? For it to be closed or out of food too? How about let's do better at the first spot before expanding? The food is good, but the customer consideration is lacking.I am so very sorry for your loss and the vandalism. You have a great business model with unlimited potential. Again, the food is awesome(that's why I keep coming back). I wish you and your family peace, healing and abundance for the business.
