As my husband & I were in Dallas we wanted to have Veg for a change and searched something near me and we came across this place which is small yet with very calming vibes. The people and ambience was very nice. Food was delicious too and I do give 10/10 for tamarind tea. The only thing we felt it was bit pricey and we did not knew what all comes in it as some stuff we bought separately like samosa and some sweet and we took it by paying extra. overall we liked the place and would definitely go for good food and to get spiritual side.
The outdoor dining area was absolutely beautiful! The food was excellent. I had a great experience.
Amazing lunch buffet . The tamarind tea is a must have and the kheer is absolutely delicious. Actually everything was great - all the sabzis , the rice , and the dal was just like home!
This place is amazing. The food is so tasty and fresh, and the people working here so kind. I stop here every time I am in Dallas.
Ok, we went here because it has 4.7 stars and my wife wanted to try out a new Indian restaurant. It's difficult to adequately articulate our disappointment, but I'll try...The food was just bland, in all my 15 trips to India, no one, no restaurant no street food vendor, has served me steamed vegetables. The boiled mustard greens were also bland. The "Indian style okra" was acceptable and, not being a fan of black eyed peas I have to admit they were rather good. The samosa was also pretty good. The deserts... I almost hate to begin... Since there were two of us we got both options, the halwa was incredibly bad. I couldn't even tell what kind it was, definitely not carrot/besan/lauki, it was brownish purple and had a combination of spices I couldn't recognize. They told the folks in front of us that the hallway was vegan, which was confusing since most halwa recipes I know rely on milk fat. The rice pudding wasn't much better (my grandmother-in-law, a lady with impeccable manners) would have probably spit out the first spoonful. From what I could tell it was boiled (in water) rice in sweetened condensed milk, no cardamom, rose water, nuts, or anything else. Just so disappointing.All-in-all a disappointment and I don't see making the drive again.
It was nice to find temple in Dallas . Very net and clean place.. awesome vegetarian food
Unbelievably tasty vegetarian and vegan food. It's a buffet, but not its not all-you-can- eat. Someone serves you the food in your plate -- something such as Chipotle in this regard. The Indian dessert is just superb. There are also one or two Western fare like lasagna, but I personally think it spoils the Indian taste, so I usually avoid it. You eat your food in a lovely open area in the Krishna temple, while Indian tones play in the background. The ambiance is very peaceful and perfect for gentle conversations!
Food and ambiance are one of a kind. Not only is the food as fresh as it comes, the environment and vibe make the experience a whole rounded beauty. If you are trying to convince someone to eat more vegetarian food, this is the place to take them. So glad people and places like this exist.
I want to try different places when we go to Dallas but we always end up here because it is SO AMAZING! The buffet choices are always wonderful and you get so much high quality food at a reasonable price. Most of their food is vegan and they have lots of vegan options if that is your jam. We eat all the vegetarian items and find the paneer, bean curries, and lentil soup to be awesome every time. Their desserts are also very tasty, so save room for them!
Small vegan buffet. Nice variety of flavors. I loved that the owner/ mgr came out to genuinely see how I was enjoying myself on first visit. Most buffets could care less.
