This was my second time at Jose’s. It was as delicious as always. From appetizer to dessert every bite scrumptious. Our waiter Cesar was fantastic too.

Came here unexpectedly due to last Minute changes. Didn’t know that they closed so early so they were rushing us and rude from the beginning at the door. We got here at 8:30PM, They could have inform us that they closed at 9pm so we could have choose another place to eat. We felt rushed to ordered everything at once and drinks are all last call. Food was decent and drinks likewise. Services was ok and we wish we had a chance next time to be more relax and enjoy the rest of the menu.

I wish I took more pictures, which is something I say each time I come here. High level dishes that pay homage to the roots they came from. Chef AQ is in a league of her own and we seriously enjoy coming here. We live 6.5 hours away and have come here 3 times but if we lived there, we would come ALL THE TIME.

Jose never disappoints. Great cocktails! Love the Mexican shrimp cocktail too.

We were seated in the outside area where there was no AC. Our friends requested this much to our dismay. They arrived before us and chose this because the noise level at 6:00pm was so overwhelmingly loud…they chose “HOT, with the ability to hear over COOL with the need to scream at one another”. Miserable. Our waiter let us know he was actually a chef and proceeded to regale us with his knowledge of the kitchen and menu items we did not ask about or were interested in. When he came with our drinks, he knocked the beer we ordered off the tray but not before it spilled into two of our drinks. He set them on the table for us to drink anyway. We ordered appetizer guacamole which came out in a small bowl…not enough for 4 people…and not easily accessible to dip with chips for 4 people to reach so we ordered another serving. We asked for small plates so we could individually scoop what we each wanted rather than continuing to reach over the other things on the table. When he brought the plates…they were WET and HOT! HOT! Plates. For cold guacamole! The waiter told us they were “fresh from the dishwasher”!! When our food finally arrived, more than 30 minutes after ordering…and we asked the waiter what was taking so long, he swept his hand around and said…”look around, we are busy!” Our food, when it did arrive, was barely warm. The ahi tuna appetizer, which should have been cool to cold was sickeningly warm and had hard things in it, impossible to chew..possibly bones. It had to be spit out. After many previous enjoyable meals at Jose’s, even sitting outside, it became too loud to do anything but lip read and yell over the noise. The service was haphazard, full of attitude and utterly chaotic. The food for each of us was mediocre to poor to inedible. This will go down in dining history as one of the worst EVER “dining” out experiences of our lives. Never again. NEVER.

Food and service were excellent, waitress recommendation was great! Very loud when we arrived and was less by time we left. Would have been for more than 4 people to hear each other.

Awesome service & amazing food. We’ll be back!

food was excellent - got very crowded very quickly after we arrived (we had an 11:30 reservation) I've eaten there before at happy hour, and their cocktails are delicious - unfortunately, could not enjoy one yesterday, was a working lunch. Had the carnitas tacos, were very good.

Excellent food, very quick and attentive service. Fun ambience and decor. Great drinks. Were done with apps, dinner and dessert in about 1 hour.

The coconut ceviche is delicious! Mezcal cocktails a deliciously well crafted
