Jenni’s Ice Cream - Pricey but delectable ice cream spot. The butter crisp waffle bowl/cone is worth the premium up charge of a 1.50USD. At 6.25USD for two scoops, this definitely is a splurge for most in the realm of ice cream. The flavors rotate, and during the visit opted for the honey vanilla bean and the salty caramel. Each flavor was delightfully sweet and not overpowering in terms of flavor. The honey provided a nice balance with the vanilla bean and the salty caramel was not as salty as I would enjoy, but still very good. The location is in the heart of Deep Ellum and can become very busy. The staff could focus a little more on the lobby/sitting area cleanliness though. This place is a worth a splurge if you’re in the Deep Ellum area.
Everything about this place is sweet and has a good vibe. The fun and inviting decor with the calming background music was inviting.We had sunshine, coffee, and biscuits and peach jam. You’ll experience everything printed on their artsy napkin, it shows they put a lot of thought crafting it. And your taste buds will appreciate it.Oh and the staff is fun and welcoming. Go check it out and if you don’t like it, I’ll go and re-review the place.
This place was so fun! I've been on the search for a good ice cream place in Dallas and this is the first one we've liked! The gentleman behind the counter was so nice, offering us sample after sample and describing everything in detail for us. They had plenty of delicious dairy free options as well as regular. I got a waffle cone that was magnificent - perfectly crunchy and never got soggy! We'll definitely be back!
I love Jeni's ice cream! One of the best ice cream parlours I've been to! All of their flavors are great, but I especially love their Brown Butter Almond Brittle and Brambleberry Crisp!If you're with a group of friends, I'd recommend getting the 10 half scoop deal as it's the best bang for your buck.
BEST ice cream in the world! I’ve never tried a single Jeni’s flavor I didn’t like. Their cones are perfect, like I’m not sure what’s better, the ice cream or the cones. Their flavors are complex unlike other ice cream spots that are just sweet w/ barely any flavor. I love the hint of salt in the flavors, but I understand if it’s not everyone cup of tea.Best flavors (in order): Boston Cream Pie, Gooey Butter Cake, & Brambleberry Crisp
GET THE WAFFLE BOWL! It doesn’t matter what ice cream you get here because the real goldenegg are the waffle bowls! I got the wild berry lavender and brown butter almond brittle. My husband got the brown butter cake and brumbleberry. The ice cream is creamy and packed full of flavor! The staff is friendly and helpful! Seriously so delish my mouth is watering writing this review. We will definitely be returning!!
A friend and I got ice cream here during the Deep Ellum Arts Festival. I agree with another reviewer, Dan, that this place serves overpriced, small portions. Brindon is also right…$8 for a waffle cone ice cream? It tastes fine but not for the price. Unfortunately the lavender flavor didn’t put me a chokehold I’m looking forward to. The honey vanilla bean flavor was nice and standard. Also the line was long with only 3 employees on a Saturday afternoon. Overall, I wouldn’t give this place a 2nd chance. A waste of time and money.

Staff was super friendly! The ice cream tasted so good! to the point my kids were trying to lick the bowls. super clean and just over all great experience!
This is by far one of the best ice cream places I’ve ever had. Their waffle cone is especially amazing. You can usually smell the sweet aroma as from afar, and when you finally make it inside, you’re in for a treat with all the flavors they have! Get a cone, get a bowl, or take some to go and enjoy at home! There’s bound to be a flavor for you there!
