The cashier was very friendly and outspoken person and she was very good at her job and she made us feel welcome and made sure our order was right before we left that was our first time going to Jake's and we ? ?.
The customer service was great asked about different items on the menu and Employee gave me an honest answer. I order the patty melt which she suggested and it was a good sandwich.
Cool building. Great location. Cold beer. It was across the street from our hotel so we crossed the street when we saw "HAPPY HOUR" on the windows. We set at a high top in the corner of bar near one of the big windows with a great view of the street in downtown town. The January afternoon sun came in at just the right angle. Wasn’t a dim, dark hangout at all. Bright and vibrant. Ordered draft beers and cheesy tator tots. Sorry, We were really hungry so we didn't snap a pic. Bartender was friendly and quick. Came by several times to check on us. We never felt neglected. Saw a breakfast menu. Looks interesting with a good assortment of the usuals in a texas town. I don't know if I'll make it back to try it but I would if I had another day in downtown Fort Worth.
Jake's Special burger was good. Well cooked double meat with cheese. The poppy seed bun was top notch. The fries were a home run. Fresh cut and cooked to perfection. Super crisp outsides with pillowy soft insides, just like fries should be. The chicken tenders were some of the best I've had in a long time. Golden brown, super crunchy with tender, moist meat. Simply amazing. I could skip the burger and eat fries with chicken tenders and be perfectly happy.
Killer burgers (buns are very good too), killer fries, sauce was delicious. I lived in Dallas for 6 yrs near the area and never ran into this place. Glad I finally found it. Will be coming back again for sure.
They have cockroaches and rodents, Their kitchen must be nasty!! .Service for a burger is incredibly slow!! food is over priced!!
Two NY'ers stopping in while visiting Dallas. My son loved his burger. I had the BLT was was stacked. Great if you love bacon. I don't usually order fried food but I had to try the fried mushrooms. Delish. Was much better than Whataburger which was nasty. Would return here.
10 stars for Alexa at the Frisco location. Timely, very friendly and attentive to my food allergies. She made sure there wasn’t any pepper, tomatoes or dairy on my burger. We will be back, she deserves a raise for her professionalism and kindness.
People always hype up Whataburger or In n Out ... .while I'm over here KNOWING that Jake's is the best burger in town. Try their sweet potato fries that comes with icing. So good. Their buns have poppy seeds which make for amazing realistic dreams. Best burger in town.
Good food. I got a double cheese burger (#3 on menu) and a queso with chips. Burger was a very nice size, I added bacon. Queso was different, I could've went without the Pico de Gallo on top, but all in all, not bad. Would definitely recommend!
