We ordered a few times from here on doordash and ate on location once. Italia Express has great Italian fast food. My fettuccine Alfredo was so delicious but the portion was more of a half portion. Included are the garlic knots which are ??. My partner loves the baked ziti and describes it as the best in Oaklawn area.Overall will definitely give them another shot if I'm in the area.Food 4/5
Always super friendly atmosphere! We have never been dissatisfied with their service or food quality. Salads are wonderful - pasta is our “go-to” be we just tried the pizza and we love it! Stuffed shells are my pick. They are also open later than most spots during the week! Must try especially if you want an Oaklawn vibe too! Love it!!
I recently moved to Uptown and have found my favorite Italian restaurant! I ordered with Uber Eats the Spaghetti Bolognese, cheese bread and slice of pizza. Everything was absolutely delicious and packaged with the upmost care! The portions were great and I had plenty of leftovers. I can’t say enough about this place! Forgive the bite of pizza I took lol ?.Update: I see the restaurant has raised prices from one week to literally the next. I also was not aware of how much of a price difference between the reg menu and what is being charged on Uber Eats. Example: Fettuccine Alfredo, $8 at restaurant, $14 on Uber Eats (that’s almost a 100% markup) and $1 more from $13 the previous week. I understand Uber Eats takes percentage but that’s almost a 100% markup. ??♀️That said, I still ordered and it was still amazing. This time I had the Fettuccine Alfredo, Meatballs & Cheese Bread..again lol. Perfection!
I love eating here. The food is really good. I have no issues with them this is the first time. I ordered 2 bake ziti's Togo and there's almost no sauce on this. I always get this dish and always have more sauce than this. They did tell me that the price went up which is fine. But there's almost no sauce and I'm really disappointed.
Points for delivering our order to our hotel near Love Field at 10 pm on a Sunday night when we were in need of a late meal. We ordered fettucine alfredo with shrimp as an extra, and we got four measly shrimp! Really? Garlic bread wasn't very garlicky. Single-slice pizza with mushroom and pepperoni was good.
What happened Italia Express?Pre Covid I literally could pick anything from this menu and it would be delicious. Post Covid not so much. I literally didn't eat anything today because I wanted to eat here. Valentine's Day/ 6 year Wedding Anniversary and all I wanted was this.Seafood Pasta was tasteless. Calamari was hard and rubbery and the octopi was hard too. I ate the spaghetti and the shrimp because I was seriously hungry.My husband ate half his sandwich because it was also tasteless and his chip were stale.These 2 stars given are only for the watermelon tea.Please hire back the original chef and I'll be back.

I drove by for a quick lunch to go. The cashier (a man with shorter hair) today was a breath of fresh air. He was nice and perky, and chatted while I ordered. I was able to take my time since it was my first time in, and there is quite a large menu. The chicken sunrise is big enough for dinner and lunch, but it was so good, it ate it in one sitting. The pizza slices are huge and you get some garlic knots with your meal. A few people came after me and the cashier even checked to make sure the food was mine. I will be back for sure!
As you walking your welcomed by an old school pizza oven, amazing display of Pizza and Calzones. The workers are amazing and helpful. Food was brought out pretty quickly. I had the seafood paste which was very well prepared. While my sister had the spinach Calzone, which was a great blend of dough and cheese. Speaking of cheese their cheese cake is just on a league of it's own. From creamy goodness to crunch of the crust. Overall 10/10
This place has fantastic food and really friendly customer service. I had a couple slices of pizza, which were delicious far better than I expected. We also loved the garlic knots, lasagna, and the meatballs. My partner loved the salads. I will definitely be back.
