We stopped here on a visit to Dallas just to get bakery items and coffee for takeout. The pastries were very good and the selection of coffee was large. The bakery is decorated very nicely, especially with all the hanging plants in the dining area. Had we been here without a dog, we would have enjoyed eating in the dining area or on the patio with our dog if that is allowed in warmer weather. Be aware that the valet parking is complementary (tips only) and it can be difficult to find street parking in the area.

The food is delicious and the people very nice

Popular bakery with Guatemalan goodies. Came here with a group of 3 around noon and there was about a 40 minute wait, so we opted to go to the bakery instead. At the bakery, you grab a tray, pick which items you’d like, and then pay at the counter. They do accept credit cards. There’s a lot of sweet and savory options. My favorite one was the alfajores box, which are the dulce de leche cookies covered with powdered sugar. The sweet cheese bread reminded me of Filipino mamon in terms of texture and it is a less perishable item. The empanadas are good for a light meal, and the cheese bread actually doesn’t have any filling in it. The coffee bar did take a while, so perhaps get your caffeine from a different spot. There’s a valet parking lot available or you can try to find street parking by the cemetery.

One of the only Guatemalan spots I've found in DFW that's decent. I stopped in and ordered the pork chop. It was delicious. I just wish I spoke more Spanish.

Absolutely delicious! First time trying Guatemalan food, definitely worth it. The pollo con crema special and hilachas are excellent, full of flavor, though everything on the menu is good. Friendly staff and decent amount of food for what they charge. The decor is also beautiful, very cozy atmosphere for a nice meal.. My friends and I were so impressed, we come once a week for lunch. Nice hole in the wall restaurant for great, authentic food at a good price.

Just ok, went on a a Sunday morning and had caldo de Res . Soup was just ok, not worth 14.99 a soup more liquid than anything. Restaurant was empty when we arrived, soups came out fast. Vegetables in soup were over cooked and Tortillas were cold. We also ordered pork tamales and those were good (the reason for my 3 star overall).

What a charming excellent restaurant! Delicious food and excellent service. Long wait times are a drag especially when you can see open tables sitting for too long.

I don’t know why is people had a 5 stars reviews here poorly service the food not the greatest we had a breakfast I don’t know about the lunch .

The smells and decor took me back to Central America. The tamales were creamy masa wrapped and steamed in a banana leaf. The soup was flavorful in all aspects, from the broth to the well seasoned chicken, to the noodles and sweet rice.
