The burger was broiled correctly but owing to fine mixing was more reminiscent of chicken than beef. Liked the concept of blending the patty. Probably does explain the limited choices for burgers. The accompanying fries could have been better but the corn was definitely better.Seating outside is best unless one is planning carry-out. So come prepared for hospitable or rather cooler evenings than North Texas midday in summer.
We found this halal spot near downtown Dallas and tried their famous Cardi D! This has been voted the best chicken sandwich of Dallas 2021 and now we know why! It was absolutely a bomb! cant wait to go back to Dallas to have it again. We also had the roasted corn as well. This was also really good in terms of flavors. One of the best places to eat in Old East Dallas. The cashier was helpful in answering my questions and seemed interested that I was there, asking me how I found out about them. I ordered to go and they got it to me within 15 minutes of my order. The fried rice bowl was flavorful, unique, and relatively healthy - a rare combo for fried rice. Finally, the patio setup they have is simple but nice for the area. Definitely put it on your go-to list for the neighborhood.
Even though the food could’ve been warmer, I’ll still give them 5 stars! Food was very good and they gave a nice portion of food!I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or living in Dallas.
Really good spot. Priced just right. I got a strawberry burger and a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Both came with potato chunks. I was very impressed with sweetness of the strawberry burger. Definitely unique.
The food was very delightful. I had the berry good burger it was very savory, and the chicken sandwich out sold chick-fil-a in my opinion. I would’ve gave a 5 star but the owner f-Ed it up so I gave it a 4 star. It’s black owned too but the owner needs to be equal to everyone instead of ignoring his own kind and being so nice and friendly to the non blacks . Shame on the owner for that bs he pulled. But once again the food was delicious 10/10.
Oh my gosh I love this place! I just ordered the Brussels sprouts for the first time and they are amazing! So spicy and caramelized. I’ve had food here many times and finally realized I needed to post a review, because every time I’ve ordered from here it’s been delicious. Highly recommend!
An experience we will remember! The energy and the vibe of this place is unmatched. The staff was energetic and the food was out of this world. My taste were invaded with a burst of unexpected flavors. I was pleasantly surprised that the owner Aric stopped by our table. We asked him about the meal donations his restaurant gives back to the community. We loved listening to your story and we are so glad we ditched the foodies and came to your place instead. Exceptional. The Cardi B Chicken Sandwich was phenomenal. The roasted corn was incredible. The Brussel sprouts and potatoes were the best I’ve ever had. Aside from that, the place was super cool. I just enjoyed an amazing dinner with my beautiful girlfriend. Life is good, eh? The service from start to finish was flat out impressive. Gotta love places like this. Great place, great people, great food. WHAT A NIGHT! SO HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
