Great food and service. Ramen is great and pork buns are better.
I’ve tried several ramen spots in town, this is by far THE BEST. We first visited last summer & we go there almost once per week. Yes, it’s that good!! The service is also great, I can’t say enough about this place. Every ramen and every appetizer we’ve tried has been superb. The drinks are also really good (they have the best Bloody Mary I’ve every had). They have vegetarian options which is something I always look for. If I ever leave Dallas this will be the only thing I’ll miss, please go, you won’t be sorry.
Ichigoh is consistently our favorite ramen place in Dallas. We go here at least once a month, and we’ve found ourselves to be on a friendly basis with the waitstaff :-P delicious, authentic ramen - not the super rich pork broth you might be expecting but flavorful chicken based soy broth and imported noodles - and delicious pork belly. The eggs are different but not in a bad way. We love Ichigoh for the food and drinks but we come back for the people. ❤️
Every time we are in Dallas we got up this place! It’s one of the restaurants we crave regularly. The buns are out of this world! The pot stickers are crisp, hot, and amazingly flavorful. The ramen has been done to perfection for every bowl I’ve tried. The staff is extremely helpful. As a bonus, if you’re watching live bands in the area you can eat quickly and walk to the venues. Highly recommended.
The Ichigoh special spicy miso ramen is the best ramen I have tasted in America! The hosts are super warm, friendly and welcoming. The Karaage chicken and Gyoza are delicious. The ambience is perfect. We came here for lunch two days in a row. Their special margarita was the best one I had tasted in a while. We also got their bloody Mariko which is a meal of its own! Overall a very pleasant and positive experience. Will 100p return if I’m ever in Dallas again.
Probably the best Japanese-resemble flavor ramen in the entire DFW. Guarantee the best taste of any bowl you order. Everything is handmade even down to the menma (bamboo shoots) because you can feel that they had been chopped and squared off individually. The noodles are also made in Sapporo and aged in the shop for more depth and bite when slurping. Though I wish the abura soba came with the poached egg like any Japan standard ramen shop cause it would take the flavor to taste heaven. It was surprise to me that there is not a long line outside of the door. Everyone need to try and support them. The yuzu ramen (picture) was refreshing, fragrance and satisfied my ramen crave
I liked the avocado salad, it was superb. The cocktail drinks were so good. Their drink menu is extensive. Chicken kaarage was good but some weren't cooked completely (still pink). Fried mochi and gyoza were blandIt was a Sunday evening and service was slow --- only two staff were actively plating the tables/seating guests. Our party was a group of five. It took 45 minutes before the first ramen bowl came out. We all ordered different bowls and I was underwhelmed by them. Besides taking our orders and delivering the food, our server didn't check on us. Waters were emptied but can't flag down anyone to refill as they were standing by the kitchen. I used to work in the restaurant industry so even when it is busy, do remember to check in with guests especially for refills. I tipped 20% anyway bc the bartender deserved it.
You will not find Tonkotsu Ramen in here as they use chicken broth. Their ramen menu is quite different than the usual ones. The service was friendly and amicable, but slow. The Pork Gyozas were pan fried (the way we like it). The Pork Buns were ok. The Special Miso Ramen was rich in flavor, came with 2 slices of pork belly (they were nice and soft), came with no egg (bummer). The noodles were ok. But overall, we felt that the broth was very salty. There are a few ramen places in the area, this one was not as popular as the others. But we saw this place in YouTube, and gave it a try. Though it was good, it was not what we were expecting. We were just visiting Dallas and unfortunately we didn't have a chance to try the other ramen places to compare.
Super delicious. I had the “Ichigoh Special Spicy Miso”. It was loaded with flavor and goodness. The noodles were soft and delectable. I will be back.Oh and the cocktail “Big In Japan” was great too. Great Japanese whiskey paired with other ingredients.
Food was delicious and good service ? Ready to go again soon!
