Very clean and organized place but it is definitely not a coffee shop where you can go to do some studying. I asked one of the barristas what they recommended and they mentioned a popular drink which I ended up getting and it ruined the whole place. Whoever said lemonade and coffee was a must was crazy.
From start to finish, this location is amazing as an experience (and, do beware, the price reflects this quality)!The atmosphere is calm and organized but, collected, and professional but just a little eccentric... The staff provided a warm greeting at entrance and did an awesome job of explaining their menu. I ordered an iced chocolate latte with oatmilk, and it was rich, not too sweet, and balanced... literally perfect ?My only critique was the post-modern music and the price... and one of those is very subjective, so I really don't have much to complain about! Thank you so much, Houndstooth Staff; I will definitely stop by again whenever I'm in Dallas!
Very cute coffee shop! I love the low light and plants scattered about the space. There are big lovely windows that allow for natural light. I ordered a soy cortado and a 16oz matcha latte. I will definitely swing by this place again! It is located right off Sylvan so it's a bit hidden. I recommend parallel parking right off Sylvan.
Great coffee and good patio too
A coffee shop without reliable internet/wifi, is that a coffee shop? This place is an easy 5 star location because of its unique architecture, bright, open and eclectic.However, with a really awful internet, I couldn’t work out of here as long as I would have loved. My experience here took me back to the 2000s where we wait several minutes for a page to load.If you just want a place to chill with friends over a cup of coffee this place is awesome. If you want to be productive, another shop may meet that need
The place has a nice atmosphere and great customer service but the coffee is okay. They drowned the coffee in too much milk. I could barely taste the flavor. Also, we ordered a chocolate croissant and they gave it to us cold. Not even gonna heat it up? Check out Full City Rooster if you want higher quality coffee. Houndstooth, if y’all change up the coffee recipe I’ll come back and try it out. Just let me know
Discovered this place as we were driving around. And because we're coffee connoisseurs we decided to stop and check it out. So glad we did. Loved the vibe and seating area. Easy going and chill. The staff was polite and answered our questions about the different coffees they serve. We liked it so much that we bought some coffee to take back home to Michigan. If you decide to visit this place, sit on the front patio. It's peaceful and sunny ❤️
Stunning. found this place because it was ranked the MOST BEAUTIFUL cafe by Architectural Digest in 2018–which meant I had to visit this place. I tried one of their herbal teas and they served it with its own personal pot! The space is very open and I loved the design of their merchandise. the wifi did not work but maybe that is a good thing–it helped me to relax and enjoy my tea that much more.
The coffee here is good and the atmosphere is peaceful! The staff is friendly and they have a good music taste. My only complaint would be the lack of outlets offered, there are USB outlets but if you’re coming here to work or study, don’t plan on being here too long if your laptop battery is low.
