Always the most delicious cake ever! You must try their fruit cake!
The best Dutch/German restaurant in the area! Great food, wonderful flavors, super service and decent prices. The market is a great place to vet European items that you can't find in other stores. The delicatessen has ready good offerings and the bakery is absolutely one of the best in the area!
I have been an occasional customer here since 1979. In my opinion, they have the best German food at the best prices in the Dallas area. The staff and the other customers are friendly like family and neighbors. Spatial was not available, but the hot potato salad and both red cabbage and sour kraut were as good as I had in Germany. The dilemma is choosing among the authentic meats, their wursts are the best. Save room for the array desserts. So fresh and rich. We got three and took some of each home to extend the Joy.
Tried this while I was in town visiting. So glad we did. Black Forest cake was to die for! Sauerkraut, potato salad and polish sausage were delicious. The staff were lovely and made us feel like we were eating with family. I would recommend and will definitely be back.
German food, and very good! You seriously can't go wrong with anything you order, everything feels just like home! Also includes a small deli and bakery. Check it out from some good stuff that's hard to find in most chain stores.
Pretty solid food, especially if you like German cuisine. This restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and is usually filled with people. They offer a variety of drinks and dishes, and this restaurant is connected to the cake shop so you can grab some cake/dessert as well. The Black Forest cake is a classic. Would recommend checking this place out!
Great great lunch spot. Had a craving for German food and found this place. So glad we tried it. Reuben sandwich was outstanding. Red cabbage is delicious. Very relaxed atmosphere. Great taste, full belly, and all for about $10. This place wont disappoint.
Love this place. It's a cozy deli with a great German menu. They have a bakery/deli inside that sells meats, cheeses, cakes and cookies. Some menu items are unavailable so if you want something particular you may need to call ahead.
Have you been here? If not you are late to the game. The is comfort food dutch style. Henk is gone but his place lives on. Coming here is being with family. Come sit and eat amazing dishes. Old country favorties. Or go shop in the bakery. Oh my oh my. Or go shop in the deli. All the dutch favorites are here. And here I can get my herring whole filets when in season. Love this place.
Small restaurant/bakery but has no tres leches or any type of latin sweet break
