Cute little store that creeps on the edge of Dallas. Has a nice vibe of modern Asian with good traditional food flavor. I was very pleased with the openness and amount of natural light in nearly every crevice of the location.I'm a huge fan of beef noodle soup - so much that I sometimes dream of the melty braised meat. Hello Dumpling delivers just that. It's very clear that the broth and noodles are made in house - a touch on the more salty side of your traditional noodle soups, but packs a big punch of flavor that will leave you wanting more. The pieces of beef melt in your mouth, which is great. And if you're a fan of chewier noodles (yes, that's me) then you'll really like the ones they have here.Dumplings were great. The restaurant lives up to the name - great flavor with fresh ingredients. Has a good amount of crisp to the pot stickers without being too dry. Plenty of options for chicken and beef lovers as well (not just your typical pork + leek combo).A great option if you're looking for Asian cuisine in East Dallas.
You know that face you make when you take a bite, and it's just the best delicious mouthfull of a bite. Picture that but with every bite. Food is all made in house with the food reflecting how beautiful it is. Beef skewers were my kind of spicy and hot enough my partner couldn't handle them. Noodles somehow thick but just so tender that they fall apart in your mouth. Pork dumplings were juicy and the scallion pancakes, crispy goodness.
So I also love Dumplings, steamed or pan fried! I found this place on goole maps by typing in dim sum which is my fav Chinese dish! The food is delicious here, we liked everything we ordered! I got a togo ordered and it was made fast with out compromising the taste! The people that work there explained the menu and were very nice and attentive! This is a must try! I will definitely go back! The short ribs were awesome!
Had the chicken rice balks, pan fried pork w/ cabbage & shrimp/zucchini dumplings, steamed soup dumpling plus red bean Boba tea and custard ice cream. Honestly wish I could find their flavors in the store so I can buy a tub. Everything was great and delicious. The owner (I think) was kind enough to greet us during the meal. I will be coming back ASAP. Huge fan. Love it
It was alright, the atmosphere was great but the food wasnt as good as Id thought it would be since I would the beef noodles to be a bit saltier with the beef bits and the noodles werent the texture Id thought itd be. Its priced fair
Hello indeed! Where have you been all this time? With your perfectly braised shank and its glorious broth, and your fine hand crafted noodles. Not to mention your delicately filled dumplings, like chicken and mushroom or beef, carrots and onions, or the traditional pork and cabbage. Unfortunately I couldn't try everything, but fear not, I shall return to treat myself to your sauce noodles and rice dumplings and bao and milk teas. We will sit out on your patio and bask in dumpling glory.
Love the spot and the culinary experience. I hate that I just found out about it. My son and I decided to try several things on our first visit: The Hand Made Dumplings- Beef w/ Carrots & Onions (Boiled) and Shrimp w/ Zucchini (Pan Fried); The Hand Made Soup Noodles- Braised Beef; and the Dessert Dumplings- Apple & Peach. We loved it all... The Braised Beef Noodle Soup reminded me of being at a spot in SoHo, NY. We consumed it while watching the best weekend of NFL football ever... Wings- never again! Hello Dumpling is our new go to spot. Customer service was good too!
friendly staff! unique food, plenty of space to social distance and enjoy yourself, and decent prices.
Modern, fresh, house made Chinese food, including amazing dumplings. Vegetarian and vegan options, something for everyone.
The banana dessert dumplings are so amazing. I'll be back
