My second time here. I got Gin Rickshaw and some spring rolls on happy hour. Bartender aren't very social but everything else is great. Happy hour 3-6
Went for the first time early on a Friday night. The food was all so delicious! All the dishes are made for table sharing, so it’s best to order a bit of everything. The crispy pork belly and the fried rice were by far my favorites. I’ll be back to at least order these two dishes - would be great to go as well.
Our first time trying Asian street food and it did not disappoint! Our server Caleb was so knowledgeable about the menu, it made our dining experience so easy and enjoyable! He recommended his favorite dish out of each section of the menu we were looking at and we loved them! Our top favorite dishes we tried were the pad Thai lettuce wraps and the Seoul HotChicken Baos. We also really appreciated the online menu having photos of every item to help give us an idea of what the dish was.
Hawkers Asian Street Food is a gem in Deep Ellum! ? Our server Knight told us they just recently opened (this being the first location in Texas) and are an Orlando chain. As someone who has been to many Asian countries, the decor, food quality, diverse food options, and atmosphere are what make this place a way to travel to Asia without the plane ticket! We ordered the Pork Belly Bao Bun as appetizers which was perfectly crispy and sweet! ? We also ordered the CKT (which is a Pad See Ew like dish) and the Hokkien Mee. Both of which delivered ? The restaurant makes their own honey sriracha sauce which is also a nice kick. Knight recommended his favorite dish, Po Po Lo’s Curry ?
Food was tasty! Food was slow to come out and didn’t come out all at once. I got my pad Thai right at the beginning it took an hour to get the pork buns. A little pricy but I guess it’s the location. Waiter was nice but you can tell kitchen is backed up. Drinks were refreshing and painkiller was strong. Maybe will return once they get in the flow of things. I went here this afternoon and the food was sooo delicious… BUT when I tell you the staff here (ALL of them)made it a top tier experience I mean it. DaeDae was our server and he helped us pick and the suggestions he gave were better than I could have even imagined. They were friendly and on point with every aspect. I have social anxiety and I had zero and I mean 0% chance to be nervous as they were so friendly and had stellar personalities! 10/10 will go back! If you are debating on going here…just do it the food and and ambiance are awesome you won’t regret a thing! ???
I can’t believe I almost missed this place. You immediately walk in and are enveloped by the atmosphere. There wasn’t one thing on the menu I didn’t want to try unfortunately I had to only settle for a few I ordered the Seoul Chicken Bao Buns, the chicken egg rolls and the twice fried Korean chicken. Everything I ordered was AMAZING! Best Asian street food restaurant I’ve been to. I would travel back to Dallas exclusively to eat here again and I probably will.
Absolutely loved the ambience. Knight was our server for the night. He had some amazing suggestions for food and drinks. We tried a lot of them and loved all of them. The Bulgogi skewers were so juicy and tasty. Loved the double fried Korean wings. For the dessert, we got the donut. And it was by far the most delicious dessert I have had in a very long time. Will definitely go back soon.
First thing I noticed was the decor, as I waited for my late friends to arrive I felt like I was on vacation with the bright decor and the $2 mimosas definitely helped. All of the food we ordered was delicious, we ordered Korean twice fried wings, the papaya salad, bao, dumplings, pad Thai and everything was delicious! I'll definitely be back to try the cocktails they have such fun names!
My husband and I went in for a date. We were acknowledged as soon as we walked in, got seated fairly quickly and greeted. The customer service was the best! Food was brought out quickly and was soooo good! We are definitely coming back soon! 10/10 recommend. (:
