Pros: Fried chicken sandwich was great. Many thanks and credit to the skinnier server that worked the shift tonight he was pleasant.Cons: Restaurant was in disarray (not a huge problem), the heavier set server was terrible. Didn't feel welcomed once inside the restaurant, didnt display any type of customer service and he completely screwed up order. I don't give out many bad reviews but his hospitality is hurting this review.

I came into Dallas on a weekend and saw hat Creek Burger company listed online. My husband and I decided to go and so we stopped in. The birds were very good the prices were also reasonable. As you can see here we split a burger and fries and enjoyed our drinks. They have a nice playground for kids so that parents can eat and enjoy but also have a great view of their children. Located in Dallas close to the Central Express freeway! It was a nice place to go and enjoy

Ordered this place through DoorDash. They sent me a plain veggie burger that was falling apart instead of a Big Hat combo that I ordered. To top it off, the fries came half empty and soggy. It was my first time giving this place a try but also my last. Pathetic.

I don't live in Dallas, but I was there for an appointment, and I looked up local restaurants in the area and found this little gem. The decor was really cool, the staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious. I ordered the little hat burger with tater tots. You can get your choice of burger, chicken, or hot dog with regular fries, sweet potato fries, or tots. Good portions, and VERY reasonable prices! They have 3 unique sauces you can put on your burger/fries. I chose the "fry sauce." It was sweet with just the right amount of tang. There was an outdoor patio out back with a playground, so kid friendly as well. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area.

This is a bare bones burger place, I ordered a Southwest and it didn't come with lettuce and tomato. Nor did the guy ask if I wanted them. I have no issue with it if that's how they work that's fine but I wasn't too impressed with the bun , the meat was cooked okay, jalapenos were fine , cheese was okay tater tots were outstanding but the burger itself I just didn't find to enticing. Maybe I was looking for another type of burger which is a completely possible but $12 and no lettuce and tomato that's real weird to me.

It’s a 3 star burger joint. Just average. Their loaded fries were over seasoned and underwhelming. Looks like the cheese was melted in a microwave. The ambiance leaves you wanting more, pretty boring place.

I always love taking my kids to Hat Creek!! The only drawback is that their playground area is not big enough, and usually on a beautiful Saturdayor Sundayafternoon it is jammed pack with people! My suggestion is to go later afternoon or earlier morning (when they first open). Other than that the food is pretty good, the prices are average too that neighborhood, and there is plenty of parking.

We hosted my son’s second birthday here and had such a wonderful time. Reserving the space for his birthday was easy, simple, and stress free. The kids had an awesome time on the playground and dug into the chicken tenders. We’re so appreciative of the happy friendly service. We had such a great time!

I usually go to Richardson location which is always clean and seems well run. I went to Walnut Hill today for lunch at 11. It smelled like a dirty mop. Overpowering when you walked in. Restaurant wasn't clean. Tables dirty. Doors had fingerprints all over them. Sauces weren't filled. Food was ok but sweet potato fries weren't cooked. Not a good look. I wonder what it looks like AFTER the lunch rush??

Decent food, fun playground for a little one. However, from the time on the receipt (when we ordered) to when we received our food... 45 minutes!! This doesn't include the 10 minutes we waited in line. Way too long to make a child (and most adults) wait for their food!! And when I asked about it, they said, "me and a lot of other people."
