Ordered through Postmates. Don’t normally make it point to leave a bad review but goodness. The queso was like water with yellow die in it. No flavor and completely runny. The chips were stale, like sitting out for days stale. Tacos were ok to good but overall the experience was “we’ll never eat there again.”
Gave this place a second chance and was disappointed a second time! Some places don’t deserve a second chance! Please listen when I say that these are the worst tacos! Better off getting jack in the box tacos! Hate to bash this place of business but they shouldn’t be allowed to serve food this mediocre. Owners, if you read this, please revise your recipes and try the food yourselves. And whoever makes the barbacoa, what are you smoking!? cause dam! Grotesque! Please please please! Tried this place for the first time last week and it was good but not the best tacos I've ever had. The Trompo was my favorite. The steak tacos were a little too salty and the fajita was okay. Best thing about it was the amount of onions and cilantro you get. Green & Red Salsa were the bomb as well!
They burnt my tortilla for my breakfast tacos and the bacon was only added to one half so the second portion of my food was just egg and tortilla. The egg was cooked to my liking so that's a plus.For my lunch tacos, I asked for extra lime and they gave me no lime. They give out salsa bags for to go orders and it's convenient when eating at home, but messy for your work desk!
If I could give them big fat 0 I would. Went there last night and I bought 2 burritos, 2 stuffed jalapenos (but they gave me 3, which they could have kept because they were awful!!!), and 2 churros which were the best item in my order. The burrito pic on the menu and what I got was way off base, the tortilla was soggy and had much of nothing in it (looked like something you would give a child as small as it was)and for $8.50 it was a total rip off, the stuffed jalapenos were hard and undercooked and the customer service sucked!!! I spent $30 there and was totally disappointed ☹️ I want my money back!!!
Not a bad street taco. I chose carne asada for my taco plate and the tacos had plenty of meat. They place the cilantro and onions on the side which I kinda like. The beef was fairly bland, and so were the beans and rice. The beans actually had cut up hot dogs in them! However, Mexican food is bland to begin with. If you are eating Mexican food bursting with flavor, loaded with cheese and sour cream and a variety of spices, it is not Mexican. Unless you thought Mexican food is what you ate on Spring Break in college. The only reason beans are refried in the first place is to add fat for flavor and calorie content.Anyway, the cilantro and onion were fine with me. And they gave me my choice of red sauce, which was menacing both in heat level and appearance. The green is for us Gringos. The cost was cheap and the beef was not fatty and chewy. I will go back, definitely.
I got trompo & barbacoa tacos. They were absolute fire to say the least. 10/10 recommend. Definitely one of the best taco spots in Dallas.
We got burritos from here and they were more like a wrap. Unseasoned and kinda blah. Served with fries and not chips and salsa (kinda weird). The jalapenos stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon were better after we stuck them in the oven for a while. Maybe next time, if there's a next time, we'll try the tacos....maybe that's the thing to get. But $25 was a bit much for what it was. ?
I gave them a second chance. Both times the employees lacked customer service.This time, only 1.5 out of the 3 barbacoa tacos were edible because of how fatty they were. The rice was cold and the portions were not worth the price.
What a fantastic place. If you want some legit street tacos in the area, this is the place to get them. The fajita beef were some of the best I've had. Love that they're open 24 hours as well, great for that late night meal after a night out. Highly recommend
