By far my favorite place in East Dallas, and I am always looking for an excuse to come here. What's not to love? The restaurant is huge, there are TVs for sports, a big patio with long tables where you can bring your dog and the rest of your family or your coworkers. Their cocktails are amazing, even tho they're a beer spot. In the winter they make the best hot toddies. The service is fast, the prices are reasonable. You can get any burger on a salad if you are carb-conscious. I love everything about this spot.
I love this place very good lively atmosphere. The host was very personable and I believe the owner or manager was walking around and he was very nice too, but he could've been just another friendly worker. I had a great experience with the customer service there 10 out of 10 and the food was delicious too. The fries were on the crispy side but those smash burgers to die for absolutely delicious. They provide water for the dogs in the patio which was also very considerate.
This place is fantastic all around. Food, service, price, and atmosphere all fantastic. Beware if you like spicy they have a great variety of food items.
This place is a cornerstone of East Dallas. Incredible food with the highest quality produce and meat. The owners and staff are also somehow even better than the food. Nothing to critique… Goodfriend is bliss.
Awesome and authentic ceasar salad with real anchovies- I also have tried and love the Bourdain burger and the BLT! Great vibe - and music and people - open air concept- doing all the right things here.- foodies heaven
DadBod Burger is great. Ask for the sauce on the side. The vegan chili is amazing too.
Always an excellent visit to Goodfriend Beer Garden! Whether it's warm or cold, their food & drinks on their oversized patio are a perfect combo for groups, or an intimate date night. Mgmt & staff are such great people, good vibes all around.

Good selection of beer, patio is huge, and staff was very attentive. Food was good and did not take long. It's hard to fault a place like this when you go if the weather is nice. If the sun is out stop in.
I was visiting my sister who lives nearby and wanted to eat somewhere local to her neighborhood and she immediately suggested Goodfriend. We ordered pick up and she sent me to get it so not being familar it was hard for me to find because there wasn't an obvious sign and Google gave confusing directions but it's right next to Hello Dumpling. It was worth getting lost for the food was so good. Best fried pickles I've ever had. Definitely recommend!
