Great food and value. They were extremely short-staffed so wait was longer than usual but once we were seated the manager, Marvin, made sure that we were promptly taken care of until a server was free to help. Drinks and food came out quickly and the servers were great about replenishing salsa and their delicious warm bean dip. We were impressed that the manager was willing to help with the service to accommodate us. Will definitely go back!

Hostess Fanny, manager Marvin, outdoor seating service Jessica team are amazing. Our family enjoys a quick stop by or dinner spot after Katy Trail. Good food and service with consistency. Sorry to mention others. I will get that in. Thanks, Gloria’s team! We’ll be back!

Our meal and service at Gloria’s in Uptown this weekend was PERFECT! Claudia was our server and she did a phenomenal job! We will ask to sit in her section the next time we go back. Marvin the manager was extremely kind and professional, he took the time to talk with us and find out how our experience was and also checking in other tables. We enjoyed meeting him. We’ve been to other Gloria’s restaurants in the area, but we had the best experience here! Highly recommend this restaurant to all!

Absolutely had a blast here! Lots of fun with friends for our brunch!

Gloria's Super special:One chicken tamale, one pupusa, yuca, fried plantain, sour cream, arroz casamiento and black beans

Haven't dined here in awhile and I will be back soon!1. Service. Javier was perfection! Friendly and efficient with his service, he checked on us the perfect amount, suggested a great wine, and just provided excellent service all around.2. Food is great! Reasonably priced, the bean dip is amazing, and their chicken soup is delicious.3. 1/2 price wine bottles! Hello? Need I say more? SU-TH nights they serve 1/2 priced bottles of wine.

I love Gloria’s. It has been my absolute favorite restaurant for eight years now. I’ve been there three times this week (I just moved back to the area) and it is going DOWNHILL. Earlier this week they made us wait 30 min at the bar for a table even though the restaurant was practically empty ( and then rushed us out when they were closing even though we waited 30 min for a table). Tonight is NYE and we arrived at 9:15 and the restaurant was supposed to close at 10:30. We showed up and they turned us away due to “low traffic”. However there was a family in the waiting area that they seated at the exact same time. Also there was a party of 4 that arrived right before us and another party that arrived within 5 min after. “Low traffic” seems like an excuse to go home early to party for NYE. We also called the GM (Nelson) to let him know about our experience and he said he made the call to close early. We love Gloria’s so much and hold it to such a high esteem and are very disappointed.Fyi we went to another Mexican restaurant and told the server we’d order quickly and get out. She told us to take our time and enjoy ourselves, which is what we expect in the service industry. I was a server for six years and we tipped v well.

Haphazardly closed an hour and a half early on New Years Eve. We arrived right as a much larger party was being seated and was told they were closing because of a “lack of traffic” (restaurant appeared to be very crowded). As loyal supporters of Gloria’s for well over five years we expect to be treated better. We will be taking our business to Chuys, E-Bar, Mi Cocina, or any one of the many receptive, welcoming Tex Mex establishments that Dallas offers.

Great food, drinks and atmosphere!

Service is fast and food comes out in good timing. Sometimes a little fast that servers continue to come several times the table when you're eating. Overall good, love the newer dishes like the Blackened Red Snapper ?? had mimosas over brunch which has good options on their weekend menu! ?
