Very accommodating and professional staff. Maintenance crew are prompt and courteous. Walking distance to many excellent restaurants and parks. Good quality neighbors. Lacks the homeless situation we found when living closer to the downtown area of Dallas. A pleasant experience and am sorry to be leaving. They are really boosting rents and folks are complaining and fleeing. Ours was boosted over $500 a month and as much as I enjoy the property, it simply isn't worth that amount.
Was a nice place until rash of car break ins for residents. Not enough security in the parking area and property management has not done enough to address the situation. Look elsewhere if you are wanting to move to downtown and don't want to worry about your vehicle.
I've lived here since 2020. I have enjoyed my apartment. The staff are great, and always nice. To anyone looking to move here, please go see Jerold. He will make sure you are taken care of.

Jerold and Stephanie made the entire move-in process go smoothly. Our move-in punch list was addressed just hours after submitting it to the office. Daniel at the concierge desk helped with elevator scheduling and securing mail packages that arrived ahead of our move. The staff is the main reason we moved back!
I moved in here back in November of 2021 because of the spacious units, greatlocation, and modern amenities.However, the reality of my past 3 months here have been quite different. From multiple intentional power outages causing inconveniences in living situations for residents to the constant fire alarms going off at odd hours of the night and middle of the workday, Gables simply doesn’t pay enough attention to the experience residents expect for the amount they are paying in rent. I also had neighbors across the hall who had a water leakage that could not be identified by maintenance and were told ‘to call their renter’s insurance’ to deal with it with zero accountability held by the property management team.Not only that, but safety and stolen property are an issue here as well. I had a bike stolen from the bike rack in the parking garage and it took multiple emails and phone calls over the course of two weeks to get the property team to take any action or follow-up just to be told that they don’t have any footage of that blind spot of their cameras.I’m extremely disappointed with the my residence so far and can only hope that the remainder of my time here isn’t nearly this poor. Advice to the management team: please listen to your residents and take their concerns seriously and make improvements to ensure their safety and convenience for what they are paying are taken to heart.

I am honestly surprised it isn’t rated complete 5 stars.First off; for the amount of Square footage you get this apartment complex, it’s unbelievable at the price!You get the luxury of high rise living with a beautiful view, & beautiful amenities, right in the heart of Dallas. The concierge is always there 24/7 to take care of your guests and well as deliveries or any general needs you may have.The management team is responsive, and are always willing to help. Especially Stephanie, she’s literally god-sent, you probably won’t find better elsewhere.I’ve lived in this property for over a year, and I’ll say that as far as luxury apartments go, this is unbeatable!
I have been leaving at Gable 17 since June 2017.Stephanie, Jerold and all the leasing office's staff are always very professional, among being extremely understandable cooperative and friendly. The building it is always kept in shape shape, clean, efficient and safe. Maintenance Team it has been acting within few hours from any request I have made so far. Concierge Team has been always efficient and welcoming with a smile. Location is getting better and better every year, high end restaurant bar, groceries stores are opening. Best place to live in Dallas.

$65 charge to renew and 20% rent renewal increase, no negotiation. No working pool. Dozens of residents around me all smoking pot. Neighbor across the hall smokes cigarettes. I've lived in this building for 3 years now and have seldom felt like Gables actually cares. It's just a numbers game. Spare me the "please contact us". You can contact me when you want to treat the residents who have been here through the thick of it with some respect instead of just as an expendable tenant.
