Great food and visit. The shrimp tacos are amazing. Staff was courteous and no issues, place was clean.
This was my first and Last time. I'm visiting Dallas from Chicago saw this place and thought I'd stop in for some Catfish & Shrimp. Unfortunately the Shrimp were fried too hard. Both the Catfish & The Shrimp had too much Cornmeal Breading Neither had FLAVOR Or Seasoning. I also ordered the Red Beans And Rice Looked Good But No Flavor Or Seasoning. The Hush puppies Was the only thing that had a little flavor. My hotel was too far away to go back so I got full off of food I didn't N Joy ?Mz.Sand
The flying fish is a very cool place to visit and eat at! The food is good and the staff are helpful. The grilled options were underwhelming so I will recommend fried over grilled. Ordering is informal and I will recommend having an idea of what you want before joining the line to order. It is fast food style, you order, pay, and get a device that alerts you when your food is ready. The interior is well decorated with with photos so that is something to look at while waiting for your food.There is sufficient parking.
The food was not seasoned. The breadcrumbs had seasoning, but other than that it was very bland. I’ve never had calamari slice so extremely thin. This was very different for me. I’m used to more flavorful food.
Great place for classic good food. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely enjoyed our meal, the music and atmosphere. The crawdads made me feel like I was back in Louisiana and the blues took me back to my teen yrs growing up in Memphis.
This is the best place in Dallas downtown to have a cold beer and great catfish, oysters, leg frogs, gator, ceviche and a lot other fish.

It was terrible. The fish was fried so hard it was barely edible. It also seems to be old.The green beans aren’t good either.Never will eat there again.
