Great tasting espresso and their syrups are not overly sweet! I love trying places with housemade syrups but I always have trouble getting something the right sweetness. I plan on coming back whenever I am in the area :)
I wanted to go to the Fiction coffee ☕️ on Elm Street and ended up at this location by mistake. I was disappointed of how small the place is at first, because by looking at the pictures of the Elm Street location, the second one is huuuge and specious. It did not matter really, as I needed a coffee...lol. I gave it 3 stars ? for the following reasons: 1. They asked me if the order Is for here, and I said yes. They gave my hubby a nice tea cup, and the green tea was nice, but gave me a cup to go. I really hate those paper and glue cups, and preferred to have my coffee ☕️ in a nice coffee ☕️ cup and saucer. 2. While sitting and eating my bagels , I saw a guy going out with a coffee pack. He bought a whole pack of coffee beans to brew at home. But, when I wanted to buy one, the barrista refused to sell me one, which was pretty weird ?, as she just sold one to the guy that just left, and they had plenty of them on the counter 3. Limited parking space and no space for maneuvering at all
First time going to Fiction, and I loved the drink. I got the 1980 and I loved the drink! The espresso was super smooth, and was not too acidic. I loved my pastries as well! The baristas were super friendly. The music was really great, and it was the perfect volume while I was doing homework. I am for sure adding them to my regular spot.
We finally found an excellent coffee shop near us!! Small but adorable, Fiction Coffee has a very simple, easy-to-read menu and lots of food options. I tried a vanilla Latte with almond milk, hot and iced, and a plain bagel with plain cream cheese. My husband got an iced decalf mocha. We both loved our beverages and were able to take advantage of the free wifi and cute restrooms. Customer service was super friendly. We'll definitely return!
The coffee is great, wth lots of unique options. Unfortunately, the service is not impressive. I was the only customer this AM, however, a call-in order took precedence over a customer right in front of them (me). I waited 15 minutes for my drink while 2 staff members made at least 8 call-in order drinks. Good business practice would have been for one staff member to make drinks for actual walk-in customers while the other staff member took care of the call-in large drink order. After 15 min. of waiting I just left without my drink. Need to seriously work on their customer service!
Two vanilla oat lattes and everything bagels with scallion cream cheese togo. The lattes were some of the best we have had ( and we’ve had a latte ;) ) smooth a lot of depth and not too sweet. The bagels could have been toasted a more, and the scallion cream cheese could have had more flavor- but honestly the coffee was so good it didn’t matter.Staff was incredibly kind
Great flavor! Their Matcha latte was extraordinary (and that says a lot considering I'm not a fan of anise). This one was a perfect combination
The baristas are skilled at pulling shots. They unfortunately were not doing pour over at the time of my visit, but were otherwise perfectly accommodating & friendly!
Went here with some friends after eating at Dahlia next door. We had the white chocolate peppermint mocha. It was a seasonal drink and oh so good. The atmosphere was very cozy and I hope to go back when I’m in the area again.
Great coffee, calming atmosphere! Banana nut bread was yummy. 1 more star if they had a microwave to warm the bakery items. Cold muffins or bread…not so good. Perhaps investing in an inexpensive microwave to warm the yummy food!?
