First time in Texas and we needed to get our BBQ fix. It was almost closing time for them and they still were able to serve us! Usually some places act really rude when you do this (understandable). We got the sampler and it was just enough for the 4 of us before a night out in downtown. All the sides were good! Along with everything in the sampler platter.
Great brisket Reasonable portions Good price Peach cobbler to die for Prompt service Friendly staff Air conditioning not quite up to par
Saw this place reviewed on Hulu TV. We DART trained into Dallas and walked from the rail station to this venue. Not impressive from the street but quite a nice surprise out back on the patio. The food, service and beverages are excellent. We shared the “Waffle Fry Nachos”, “The Day Off” burger and Mac & Cheese. Worth the trip into Dallas ????
Local BBQ joint just 5 minute walk from the Hilton Anatole. Simply designed inside, which leads you to believe they focus on what matters, the BBQ. Good array of choices, I selected the 1/2 lb brisket, along with fries and slaw. Other offerings included pork and ribs (which I should have ordered as well). The service was quick. The brisket was just right, juicy, but not overly fatty. Fries were hot and crisp and the slaw was the perfect cool and creamy counterpart. For sauce lovers, they have one option but not a ton of selections (which is fine by me). It was a hot day so I was not able to enjoy the backyard Ferris wheel and seating. Definitely stop here if you are attending a conference at a local hotel.
The place was really cool place the service was great, the food was good and lots of choices. The restaurant has a good theme. Looks like it could get pretty lively when bands play. Not the best place to come if your going to watch sports the bar was full and with reason because people watching the games. All around good experience.
Click on the directions button and later come read reviews. The food and atmosphere here doesn’t translate as amazing as these photos. The patio is wide open when plenty of space for your kiddos and pets. A new stage for great nights for bands. The food is finger licking good! The dry rub chicken is my go to every time! My mouth is watering as we speak just thinking of it. The staff is so sweet and always on top of everything. See you soon Ferris Wheelers!
Visiting Dallas, TX and decided we needed to get some BBQ before leaving. We'll we googled and it took us to this place. It was amazing!!! The sauce was the best I've had in a long time and the peach cobbler will make you slap your mamma. ? such a fun spot with the best staff! I would absolutely recommend if you're ever in the area.
I have been dining at Ferris Wheeler's for a while now and I've had pretty good experiences, until today. The portions were much smaller and the pickles were literally half cooked the batter was falling off and the batter that was still on with very doughy. When I called back to speak with someone about the quality of the food today the person who answered the phone was basically like oh you're not the first person to call about this, the only thing I can do is let the management know you called. I was very disappointed that they are aware that they are serving a lesser quality of food if they normally do and that they have not taken any action to correct this.
Ein sehr spezielles Restaurant. Ein Teil der Speisen gab es nicht mehr die waren aus. Aber was es gab war sehr gut und sehr gí¼nstig.
Fun location. Parking was valet for a nominal fee when we were there. We sat out back where you are waited on as opposed to inside which is counter service. We tried almost everything and it was overall pretty seasoned and spicy. I enjoyed that but it was a bit heavy for others. Highlights on the sides were the fried okra bits and the potato salad. The meats were all wonderful.
