I feel this is for a more seasoned…… diner. Fernando’s is not bad, it’s food and drinks are definitely for the elderly. We were eventually given cold stale chips with incredibly bland neutral salsas. We spoke to our second server who corrected the cold stale chips. The drinks were pretty awful. And the appetizers were gross. It does seem popular with a more seasoned upscale clientele. So, if that’s you, yes. If you are young and used to rich foods, no. I can’t personally recommend it. It ruined our appetite and we left. Our service was also quite poor.
The food was good, but we were the only African American ppl there so it felt like we were being watched and wasn’t receiving the same treatment as everyone else. We paid with cash and I watched the waiter count the money to make sure we paid the right amount. I feel that only happened bc again we were the only African Americans there.
Chips and salsa were awesome. All three of the salsas are very fresh. Queso is soo good. Better than many ive had. We got a mix of the spinich and chicken quesadillas cancun. So delicious. They are very well made and the cheese pulls apart.We got blueberry mojitos and bloody mary's. Both were awesome.
Love this place and recently put it in our rotation. We usually sit in the bar area and the service is great. Try the habanero hot sauce!
It was good food but kinda expensive I’ve been to better places that was the same price point as this. I will say the guacamole bowl was huge and amazing… they served chips with three difference sauces which was interesting
Unfortunately we only did takeout but the food was delicious. We called our order in and it was ready as promised. Portions were decent size. Would like to try eating dinner there some time in the future. Restaurant is in a shopping area so parking is on problem.
First off let me say that we usually love Fernando's, however, don't go if you want fast service or the ability to talk quietly. We enjoyed the food, which is very tasty but the noise level rivals that of a KISS concert. My wife and I could barely hear one another and because of the noise level, my order got put in wrong. They did however bring me the correct dish and comped the wrong one. Maybe they are short staffed because we went without fresh drinks and chips for a long time. We really do enjoy Fernando's food. It was just too much to enjoy the experience
First time trying Fernandos franchise restaurants , everytime I walked by one it’s always packed at lunch time . Finally has a chance to sit down outside and enjoy it with friends. The service here was pleasant and food was satisfying. Drinks was also good here especially the margaritas.
Fresh corn tortillas and three different salsas. There’s a reason this place is a locals favorite. Fast food and friendly service.
Dined there yesterday with a table of four, spent $160. We asked the server to split the check, he was so upset at our request, that he stormed off and told the rest of the crew about it. In these challenging times, restaurants should value all of their guests. If the server would have simply asked ahead of time, one check or four, the problem could have been easily avoided.
